Chapter 6

I woke up to someone shaking me. “Leah! Leah! Get up” I heard from the familiar voice.

“Lou I swear to God that if you don’t shut up you can walk toDoncastertoday” I said in a half awake voice.

“Very funny! But seriously get up.” 

I ignored him, thinking he would go away. Whack! “Ouch! Louis! Get off me!”

He had decided the only way to get me up would be sitting on top of me.

I pushed myself up making him fall off me and onto the hard wood floor. Rubbing my eyes, I looked around. This was’t Louis and Harry’s flat.

“You feel asleep here last night with Zayn” he said sensing my confusion.

I nodded at his response. Remembering last night.

I had told Zayn some of the story last night. I remembered how he was quiet after. But then I remembered he had his arm around me when we were watching TV later that night. He had whispered some comforting words when I had tears in my eyes. It only made me wonder how he would react when he found out the whole truth. But I didn’t want to worry about that now.

Louis and I walked over to Nialls flat, across the hall. Inside I saw all the boys. But when I walked in further I saw 2 other people, girls.

“Look who finally woke up!” Harry yelled across the room.

“Haha very funny. Its not my fault you all went to bed early!” I said walking towards the kitchen table where everyone was seated.

I sat down in the empty seat next to Niall and Liam. Niall had a massive plate of food in front of him making me laugh. He gave me a curious look “Yes Leah?” he said in his Irish accent.

“I don’t know how you guys eat all that food and stay so fit!”

“Tell me about it!” I heard from my side.

I looked over and noticed the girl on the other side of Liam. She had amazing curly hair and a perfect smile. I recognized her from magazines and Tumblr. She was Danielle, Liam’s girlfriend. “Hey I’m Danielle. You must be Leah” she said giving me a wave. Then she continued “The boys literally eat everything and gain nothing! It’s so unfair”

I laughed, agreeing with her. “Hey I work hard to keep this body in its prime, thank you very much” Liam said with a pout.

Danielle playfully hit him on the shoulder.

 I couldn’t help staring at them. They were so cute together. They both seemed so happy to be with each other. The way they looked at each other, I could tell it was genuine. He would rub her leg or put his arm around her. They would both give each other this look when the other wasn’t looking. It was just adorable, I envied it.

Snapping me out of my thoughts, my phone vibrated from my pocket. It was a text from Zayn. ‘I had a good time last night’ it read.

I looked across the table at Zayn. He was smiling. So I text back ‘Me too :) thanks for listening to me.’

 He soon responded ‘Anything for you babe’

I was reading it, probably smiling like a fool.

“Aww how sweet! Zayn why don’t you text me things like that?” I heard in a high pitched voice in my ear. Louis

I could feel my face heating up.

“Ohhh somebody’s embarrassed!” Harry yelled

“Sorry Louis, your just not my type” Zayn said laughing, giving me a wink. How was he not embarrassed I thought to myself.

An hour later I was back in the guest room getting ready for the day and packing up my stuff. When I heard a knock on the door.

“Come in” I yelled not bothering to look to see who it was.

“The boys had to run to the studio for a little bit” Danielle said standing in the door way.

“Oh okay. Do you know how long they will be?” I said turning around, facing her

“An hour tops. We were just gonna stay here, in one of their flats. Since we have plans with the guys later. Its easier than going all the way back home”

“We?”

“Oh, me and Alyssa, Harry’s girlfriend.” She said. “So if your not busy do you want to hangout or something?” she asked.

“Sure, I have nothing to do anyway” I said standing up and walking out to the living room with her.

“Well probably just stay here, Liam’s place is a mess right now and anyway me and Lyss usually stay here because Harry never cares, neither does Louis.”

“Hi! Im Alyssa”

“Leah” I said politely

Like Danielle she had dark brown hair, except her’s wasn’t as curly. It was straight and went a little past her shoulders.

“I’m so happy the boys have the whole week off!” Alyssa said smiing.

“Me too! Liam is so excited! I heard you and Louis are going back toDoncastertoday. He must be excited to go home”

“Yeah I think hes happy to go home and see his friends. I have school all week so it wont be too exciting”

“That sucks!” Alyssa said “I take a few online corses right now, but im looking to transfer to one of the Uni’s inLondoneither next semester or next year”

“That’s awesome! I only have 3 semesters left after this one! Then im finally done”

“okay enough about school, how about we talk about something more interesting” Danielle said giggling

“Yes. So Leah you and Zayn are cute!” Alyssa blurted out

I started to blush again. “We’re just friends. I only meet him like 2 days ago” I said trying to change the subject.

“Friends? Yeah right. You both like each other” Danielle said

“I mean he’s a really sweet guy and hes nice, and hes funny, and hes easy to talk to”

“And I see no problem with all of those qualities” Alyssa responded

“Well it doesn’t matter anyway. He probably doesn’t like me. Plus I leave tomorrow and I don’t know the next time I will be back”

“I think you’ll be back. I heard the boys talking about how fun you were, playing games with them and stuff. Plus Louis was talking about you coming back” Danielle said.

Alyssa nodded in response and added“I think you should tell him” .

“I don’t think he will feel the same way. Plus I have a lot going on and a lot of baggage” I said truthfully.

“You won’t know until you try. Plus this doesn’t have to mean you get together. It means that you just let him know you like him, then when he says he likes you too then you just work towards a relationship, not just jumping into one”  Danielle said

“I’ll think about it” I said giving it
