Changes

Chapter 40

Zayn and I decided to head over to Niall’s to meet up with everyone else. Zayn had waited for me to change out of my sweats and fix my hair. We then walked over, hand in hand.

“Look what the cat dragged in” I heard Harry yell as we entered the flat.

I laughed as I heard Zayn reply “Isn’t that your job Harry, dragging cats in”

All the guys doubled over laughing, even Harry. I looked around the room and noticed two people were missing.

“Where are Stan and Cole?” I questioned

Liam quickly answered “They went out to meet Louis somewhere” while Niall and Harry both avoided my eyes. I could tell that Zayn noticed too, I could feel his grip tighten on my hand.

“Oh okay. Do you know when they will be back?” I asked taking a seat around the guys

“Probably soon” Harry said shortly

I knew that that was the end of that conversation, something was up, and it didn’t seem good.

The guys then broke into a conversation about what they were doing tomorrow. They had some big talk show and performance scheduled along with a few other interviews. While they were talking I dropped Zayn’s hand and walked out of the room and into the kitchen for a snack. The best part of Niall’s flat, he had the best food.

“Excuse there moodiness” I heard Alyssa say from behind me.

I had forgotten she was even there, she had been sitting silently by Harry, not being her bubbly-self that she normally was.

I closed the cabinet that I was searching through and leaned against the counter, facing her. “What’s up with all of them?” I asked quietly, keeping my voice down so the guys couldn’t hear us.

Alyssa kept quiet for a few moments; she brushed her long straight brown hair out of her face, before saying “Well Stan was here earlier, with Cole. And well Harry already knew, but Liam and Niall found out, about him being Cole’s Dad.”

I took a big, deep breath waiting for her to continue.

“I guess I should start from the beginning. I’ll make it short” she said before starting again “So Niall, Liam, Harry, and I were all here. Stan had left here early in the morning to go over to Louis and Harry’s. So when he came back to hangout out he had Cole with him. I personally had no idea why Cole was with him, not that I mind, or the other guys because lets be honest, we all love the little guy, he’s great!” she said

I laughed, as she got side tracked “Okay back to the story. Anyway, Harry had been acting weird around Stan, especially when he saw him with Cole. I was confused and so were Niall and Liam. Stan and the guys all usually get along really well and they are all good friends. So eventually Liam asked why Harry was being weird. Stan tried to drop the subject and said it was fine, but that just made us all more confused. So then out of no where Harry just says, ‘So now you’re the perfect father, your not fooling any of us’ The both argued a little bit, it was more Harry, but then Louis called Stan and they both left”

When Alyssa finished I had my head down, looking at my feet. “That’s not how I wanted everyone to find out. Oh gosh, you probably think I’m a whore, having a kid with my brothers’ best friend”

“No I don’t. I don’t even know what happened between you too and who cares. I don’t know why the guy are being so weird about it. When Stan left Harry said that he has been mad at Stan since he had been to your house a few weeks ago.”

“There was a fight” I said to her

Alyssa didn’t understand what I meant, so I told her about when Stan had come over and Louis was there. How we had argued and Harry had found out about everything.
