I turned around an came face to face with Stan. For the first time in a very long time I was actually grateful to see him.

With his arms folded across his chest and his face in pure disgust he stared back at Hannah and I. Stan took one look at me before taking off his sweatshirt. He handed me the blue Jack Wills hoddie saying "Here you’re gonna need to change. Plus your skin is all red from the coffee"

Taking the sweatshirt I noticed just how red I saw. The coffee had been burning me for a few moments but I had been too angry to totally react. Thanking him quietly I walked into the closest bathroom. I threw on the hoddie after taking off my soaking and coffee stained shirt.

After taking one last look in the mirror I walked out of the bathroom. Stan was leaning against the wall waiting for me.  "Thank you" I said when I faced him.

"Are you okay?" he asked as he led me to a nearby empty hallway. "I was on my way to get a drink when I saw her push you."

"I'm fine" I mumbled. Truth was that I wasn't fine. The coffee had burning me badly on my chest. And I wasn't fine emotionally. Hannah had caused a bit of a scene when we was yelling at me. I didn't want to stand out to other students, I wanted to blend in. And the fact that Hannah had come up to me out of nowhere only brought back bad memories.

Flashback

The day after Louis and Leah’s 18th birthday party

I had spent most of the night with Teegan. After the fight between Stan and Louis ended, everyone left. Louis had left to be at his girlfriend Hannah’s house. Leaving me alone, on our birthday. Teegan had stayed the night to comfort me, but I was still upset.

Hannah, had been one of my best friends. She played on the same football team as me for years and was even scouted by some of the same teams as me. She had started dating Louis a few months ago and since then they had been inseparable. The problem was that Hannah hated that I was pregnant. She took Louis’s side and she thought I was throwing my life away. I had given up football, for my baby. But I hadn’t told anyone why, I just made up excuses, saying that I didn’t feel like playing anymore.. The only people that knew that I had given it up because of my  pregnancy were Teegan, Stan, Hannah, and my family.

Teegan had just left and I was downstairs getting some food. “Shouldn’t you stop eating so much, I mean your already getting fat” I heard a snotty voice say from behind me.

I rolled my eyes as I had my back to her. I turned around to see Hannah standing there.

“Sorry, usually when your pregnant you tend to eat. You know feeding 2” I said as I turned back around looking for food.

I could feel my anger start to rise as I noticed she was still in the room.

“Oh yeah. How could I forget. You got yourself knock up by no other than your brothers best friend. Couldn’t even get a man of your own” she said to me.

I took in a sharp breath. “Why are you here?” I demanded, annoyed of her bullshit.

She let out an annoying laugh “With my boyfriend of course. I thought I would pay a dear old friend a visit”

“Could you please leave” I said, trying to control myself.

This was typical Hannah, going out of her way to be rude. Even though we had been best friends for years, I knew her ways. She had always been the one to go the extra step, she always had to prove her point that she was better than you.
