Chapter 32

Laying in bed I stared back at the screen in front of me. In big bold letters the title of the article read: “Has this love triangle just become a square?”

The article then said “Last night at the x-factor fans got a chance to see the beloved boy band One Direction return to the stage. But not long after their performance 2 of their members were seen in the parking garage. Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson were both seen walking out with a girl. The girl, whose face was ducked down and whose back was to us, seems to be the girl that both boys were spotted with last weekend. Although this time there is another person present, a young child. The previously reported love triangle has now added a fourth member. The girl, walked out holding the child but was later taken into the arms of Louis, while band mate Zayn planted a kiss on the girl. Louis was also seen planting a kiss on the girl before she left with the young child. Sources are unsure who the girl is with considering she left with Louis last week. They are also unaware of the child she was with. Will we be seeing her in Londonfor a 3rd week in a row with the boys? And who is she seeing in this love triangle?”

The article then contained pictures of me and Zayn kissing. My face was luckily hidden in most pictures and so was Cole’s. There were also photos of me hugging Louis and him kissing me on the forehead. There were more pictures of Louis taking Cole out of my arms and putting him into the car for me. The final picture however did show my face. It was clear as day, which was odd for night time, but it showed me just about to get into the car and drive off. My face was held a smile full of pure happiness, just opposite if what I was feeling right now.

I couldn’t stop myself from scrolling down to the bottom of the article where readers left comments. Reading them I started to regret ever opening the article. Some comments were “who is the whore? Taking our men from us!” “What a slut! She has a child and she’s trying to get with 2 of the guys” “2 down 3 more to go before she gets through all of one direction”

I could feel tears building up in my eyes. Closing the link I saw Zayn’s name start to flash across the screen.

I clicked accept to the call and hear his voice fill my ear.

“Leah” he said softly. “Did you read it?”

I could feel the tears start to fall across my check and slide down my face.

“Ummm yeah” I sniffled

I heard him sigh “Please, please don’t cry” he said calmingly

I tried to hold back my tears, but I couldn’t stop. I let out a soft sob as I heard his voice start to sooth me again “Come on, its just an article.”

I started to calm down as he said a few more things into the phone. “Deep breaths. It’s not like anyone reads these anyway”

“Zayn, its in a major magazine, everyone reads these!” I said back to him, which didn’t help my crying

He let out another sigh “Yeah, but this one is always wrong. They make up crazy rumors all the time” he said

He was right about that, the stories were usually outrageous, but it wasn’t the story that got me upset. I mean it did make me frustrated and annoyed, but it was the comments that got to me.

“You read the comments. Didn’t you?” he said, I could hear the worry in his voice and only imagine the look on his face.

“Mmhmm”

He was silent for a moment before he let out a calming breath “Don’t listen to them. Please, just ignore them”

“They don’t even know me! they are saying awful things about me and they know nothing!” I said into the phone
