S1:E4 Love me fucker

"And you made it?" Loren asked with a laugh as we walked down the street.
"Yup. That was enough adrenaline to keep me on the edge of vomiting for the rest of graduation. Leave it up to my sister to forget her cap." I shook my head and took a spoonful of ice cream.
"You know, shouldn't you be eating something a little healthier, Miss softball player?" I gave her a look as I took another bite. "Rebel rebel."
"Yes. Rebel with a cause." She giggled and I smiled at the heavenly sound before looking forward and seeing how we were nearing a coffee shop. One that wasn't Starbucks. "What are the odds?" Loren gave me a confused look but I pointed forward and a wide smile covered her lips. "We can always get cookies to go with?"
She looked over at me and a small smile covered her lips. "I like the way you think, Y/ln."
So we walked into the coffee shop and luckily it wasn't crowded. Only a handful of people were there at the tables on their laptops. It was a really cozy place.
We walked to the front, which was void of a worker, and I went to speak when I heard it someone speak.
"Shut up, loser. I was only three minutes late." I heard that familiar voice, followed by her booming laugh. "Whatever," She walked out from the back and was pulling on a cap that read 'grindin gears coffee'. She then walked over to us with her head down. "Sorry for the wait, guys. How may I.." Then she looked up. Her eyes took me in first and an immediate smirk plagued her lips. "Oh it's Stanford. Didn't know you came to this side of town. Don't they have designated Starbucks for you guys?"
"Uh.." I scratched the back of my neck in confusion and slight offense. "Campus is only ten minutes away from here." She nodded slowly before looking at Loren and humming. "Can I get one chocolate chip cookie and.."
I looked over at Loren who looked extremely uncomfortable with the other girls eyes on her. "I-I'll get the same."
My gaze raised back to the brunette who punched in the price without moving her eyes. I almost wanted to grab Loren's hand because of how much she had shrunken back.
"Two dollars and fifteen cents." I trailed my eyes down the brunettes shirt and saw her name tag. "Eyes up here, Stanford." I snapped my eyes up and opened my mouth to respond but she raised her hand. "It's okay, most people can't control themselves around me."
"I wasn't even..." I shook my head with a scowl and started to put away my card, turning to Loren. "We can just pick up some cookies from the dining halls, are you okay with that?" She nodded silently, looking at if she was itching to leave as well. I looked back at Vanessa and spoke clearly. "I know how you kinds of girls think but not everyone is lusting after you. Enjoy your day."
Her eyes were stuck wide as I turned away and walked with Loren following, both of us ready to leave. "Wow." Loren mumbled. "That was a grade-A bitch."
I gave her a small smirk, a laugh leaving my lips. "Didn't know you could say bad words, nerd." She rolled her eyes and bumped my shoulder but I tripped over my own feet and when she tried to catch me, my weight took us both down.
A loud laugh left her lips as she fell against my chest. "You're gonna injure me before I even step onto the field, woman!" I exclaimed which only added on to her bubbly laugh. I found myself getting lost inside of her hazel-green eyes and that smile... I raised my pointer finger and pushed the glasses, that slipped down, up her nose. Her giggles died down as she met my eyes. "You're so pretty." I whispered.
