As soon as you got home from the tomb sites, you searched up the lyrics to 'letters', slowly going through and examining them. The words seemed to may have been closely related with the quotes in the pharaoh's tomb. Curious, Ana checked what you were doing,
"Wow. You're trying to learn the lyrics to letters? Won't that be hard?"
You frowned at the female,
"Leave me alone woman. You learn the lyrics to your kpop songs and I don't judge"
Ana scowled at you before muttering something about making a grilled cheese sandwich. As soon as you assessed the meaning of the lyrics, you fell in love with the song. Ten minutes later, you couldn't stop singing. The melody was just too beautiful. You gently hummed to yourself, carefully pulling out the millennium puzzle pieces with your gloves. You were determined to help the pharaoh. You still didn't really believe you were his queen. It's just,
why didn't he get to live another life as you did?
You wondered why he didn't make it to the afterlife. Sorrow crawled its way into your heart. You really wanted the pharaoh to rest after five-thousand years. He deserved it after being isolated for so long.
Although you wanted him to rest, you also wanted to be with him. You didn't know what it was but, you felt as if you needed him, and he needed you. If you were really his queen, this actually made a whole lot more sense than you originally thought.
You took off your gloves, washing your hands for dinner.
You helped Ana with a new batch of pasta as she had burned the first batch. You chuckled at your best friend. She had this thing where she wanted to "work her magic" on the food. You constantly reprimanded her, saying it wouldn't work. Even though you did, she would still end up doing it. What a stubborn woman she was.
Finishing up your food, you headed back into Mana's office. Yes, she literally had an office in her apartment. She kept all of her documents and artifacts in there as she constantly traveled to Egypt. You reached into your bag, rummaging through for your gloves. You left the Millennium puzzle box and the ring on the table before you ate. Although you would've loved to hold it, it was sacred. In order to prevent any issues, you needed to wear your gloves. You grew frustrated, throwing your hands up before slamming them on the table. Why couldn't you find your gloves?
As a result of your actions, the Millennium maiden ring skidded off the table and onto the floor. Your eyes widened at your own stupidity. Quickly running over to get it sanitized, you completely forgot about your gloves. The moment your fingers touched the ring, you blacked out.*flashback of a distant memory* third person POV:
"My love, what do you think about having children?"
The young woman with (h/c) hair looked at her king. It made her happy to know he wanted to have offspring with her,
"I think it would be nice"
The man before her moved closer. He gazed at his wife with such adoration,
"I cannot lie and say I have not thought of what our kids would look like my pharaoh"
The sun-kissed male smiled brightly. He laced his fingers with hers, softly brushing his thumb across the back of her hand. The cold material of his rings pressed against her warm flesh,
"I cannot deny it either dearest one. Would you like to have a child with me?"
The woman felt her heart accelerate at his words. She flushed. The king stared at her, patiently waiting for her answer,
"Of course I would. I would be more than happy to give you a child. But I do believe the time is not right just yet"
Strong, tan arms engulfed her form before he pressed a gentle kiss onto her forehead. He sighed,
"Having a child now would not be wise. Bakura is still threatening war"
The Queen cupped his cheek. Once again, the face of the pharaoh could not be seen,
"But as soon as it is over, I promise you, we will have as many babies as you want my king"
