(H/C) = hair colorYou rubbed your head in exhaustion. It was now evening. You had originally arrived at the Pharaoh's tomb at 8 am. Mana had already left as she decided she was done for the day. You, on the other hand, were not. At least that's what you thought.
Before she left, she had been the one to wake you up from your sudden blackout. Of course, she attempted to get you out of the tomb, but you decided against it. You were determined the solve the Pharaoh's puzzle. Speaking of your beloved, he was nowhere to found when you woke up. Not in sight nor in presence.
You continued from where you left off on the puzzle. You've been working long and hard. Sweat drops slid off of your forehead as you placed the last puzzle piece in. For a split second, nothing happened. Until, the puzzle began to brighten up, sending streaks of light across the room. You lifted your arm to shield your eyes from its intense glare. Slowly, the light began to dim, before sparkling golden orbs littered the path in front of you. They began to collect together, in an orderly fashion. You gazed up at them with amazement. In comparison to the stars, these were even more radiate. The closer you looked, the more you realized a shape was forming. You made out the silhouette of what appeared to be a human being. You lifted your eyebrows in surprise before realizing who it was,
"My pharaoh is that you?"
The lights sparkled, clumping together. You could vaguely make out the outline of the pharaoh's eyes. You opened your mouth, completely astounded. Palms sweaty from excitement and anticipation, you awaited his response,
"My love, You have solved the puzzle"
A ghostly white luminescence had produced itself over his figure. He shined brightly before disappearing.
You stared in the place of where he had been standing. What just happened?? Before you could question yourself any further, he reappeared.
Beautiful amethyst eyes stared straight into your own. They sparkled carefully, almost as if they were afraid to fade away. You felt as if your heart was going to beat out of your chest.
Finally, the pharaoh appeared in front of you. A strong, built chest took over most of your view. He slightly towered over your frame. You continued scanning his figure. A white tunic wrapped around his torso, reaching up to his knees. Something floated behind him before you spotted a violet-colored cape swaying in the wind. Golden jewelry accessorized his stature. Tan, slender arms presented an amazing close-up of his muscles. His spiked hair shook softly, displaying the shades of purple, black and blonde. The male smiled charmingly at you. He was incredibly handsome.
You couldn't help but flush from over-excitement, and the fact that he was very attractive. This was your husband?! You began to feel a bit self-conscious. The more you looked at him, the more you began to recognize who he was. Memories flashed before your eyes, letting you know that this was your husband indeed. He stepped forward, wrapping his arms around your waist, gently pulling you closer towards his chest. You lifted your arms, placing them around his neck.
A gentle finger rested itself on the bottom of your chin, before softly tilting your head up. The king locked eyes with you once more. You beamed. He smiled upon seeing the smile on your lips. You lifted your hand up to touch his face before flinching in fear that he would disappear. The pharaoh took note. He rubbed circles into your hips reassuringly. Taking a deep breath, you tried again, resting your hand on his cheek. He leaned into your palm, almost out of instinct. You smiled warmly at the affection. Crying out of happiness, you finally spoke,"My king! You are here!"
The pharaoh felt amused by your behavior. Grabbing both of your hands, he pulled you in for a hug. You inhaled deeply, taking in the nostalgic scent he carried. He smelled so nice, something similar to a mix of ancient spices and a hint of vanilla. The male slid his hands along your backside in an attempt to comfort you,
"I am here now my love. I am not leaving you."
The vibration from his chest shifted to yours. Finally being able to feel to his skin made you feel overwhelmed. You couldn't help but cry. Waterfalls poured down your cheeks as you sobbed into his chest. The king frowned upon the sight. He hated seeing you cry. Bringing a hand up, he gently ran it through your (H/C) hair, allowing you to weep.
Your pharaoh, your precious beloved pharaoh was here.
The king could care less that you were wetting his tunic. He felt happy to be reunited with you, after five-thousand years. He endlessly roamed the halls inside of his puzzle, looking for a way out. After some time, he grew restless. The memories of your beautiful face provided him with comfort. He knew had to hold on for you.
You stood there, hugging one another for what felt like a small period of time. The pharaoh pulled back to look at you,
"I missed you."
You smiled before pressing a tender kiss onto his cheek,
"I feel the same way, my love."
You jumped, wrapping your legs around his waist.
"I missed you so so much!"
The king quietly chuckled to himself before leaning in. He kissed you softly, allowing the passion to reach you before kissing you once more. You pulled him closer, never wanting the feeling to end. Wandering hands slid over your hips, desperately feeling around your skin. Softly nipping at your bottom lip, the pharaoh wanted to taste you even more. Quietly gasping, you released a small moan. As a result, you felt his grip tighten. You combed your fingers through his hair, feeling the soft and silky strands graze your flesh.
Thinking back to the situation at hand, you retreated from his embrace, gazing at him through half-shut eyes. It pained you to end such a passionate moment but, you would need to catch up later. Atem understood your actions without even asking. You both heaved heavily in attempts to catch your breaths. Leaning your forehead onto his, you sighed contently. You were completely in love with this man. The millennium maiden ring and the millennium puzzle began to glow like never before. You tightened your grasp,
"It is time for us to save the world again Calixta. There is evil lurking"
