Ana led you to a famous restaurant nearby. You both sat in the booth, ordering your meals. She noticed you had seemed too distraught to listen to her daily rambling,

"Yo b are you Alright?"

You looked up,

"Yea I'm fine. I just can't stop thinking about the incident earlier"

Ana chewed her chicken before swallowing, "You were probably freaked out is all. I mean the spirit of the pharaoh is in there"

"You're right"

As you chewed your own food, Ana asked another question,

"So, do you wanna move to Egypt with me?"

You gazed at the women before you. She was very persistent. You concluded that if you left, you wouldn't be able to see her. You couldn't bear such a thought,

"Yes, let's do it"

"YAYYYY!"

You chuckled before speaking up,

"If I'm not around, who's gonna make sure you don't do anything stupid?"

The girl glared, before throwing a nut at you. You both laughed, continuing your feast.

You both decided to travel to some markets before going back to the apartment. You glanced at the sky, seeing as the darkness slowly engulfed the sun. It was finally setting.

The tents in the market displayed all types of souvenirs. While you scanned the items, you heard a faint stream of music.

Quickly, you turned to see a woman singing. Making note of her cash, you realized she sang for money. The sign above her read, 'ancient Egyptian songstress'. You approached the stage a little closer to listen. Her voice had matured with age, but it was still flawless as ever. Everyone clapped as she ended her song. She turned to look at you,

"Hello, how may I help you?"

She gave you a small smile, you responded with one,

"Do you sing all types of ancient Egyptian songs?"

The woman nodded,

"Would you like me to sing you one?"

"Yes, please. Can you sing me an ancient lullaby?"

The woman focused on you, clearly amused. You had absolutely no shame in what you asked her for. Ana stood beside you, smirking at your confidence, before looking at the woman,

"Of course"

You paid the woman before she began. She walked back onto her stage and sung while the musicians played behind her. You were very curious to hear what Egyptians in the past listened to. You enjoyed singing very much. There was a very famous lullaby everyone talked about, but you never heard it. You were hoping the woman would sing it for you. Dancers stepped out to join the female for her performance.

Suddenly, more civilians began watching. You delivered your full attention to her. As you heard the melody, you felt a wave of nostalgia hit you. You've heard this song before. You just can't remember where but, it was so beautiful. You watched her sing every note, clearly enchanted by the melody. Just as quickly as the woman started, she finished.

You clapped with enthusiasm. That was amazing. After complimenting the songstress, you asked her how the song originated. She smiled before explaining,

"Five-thousand years ago, a queen sang her pharaoh this song. It is titled letters. No one understands why, but my guess is, he wrote her letters."

You nodded your head in acknowledgment before thanking her and walking away with Ana. It was never confirmed why the song was titled that name, but it was pretty self-explanatory.
Your recent discovery confirmed your suspicions. As the melody replayed in your head, you decided to learn the meaning of the song.
With that, you and Ana headed home for some rest.

~~~~Back at the apartment~~~~
You tucked the brunette into her bed. She fell asleep on the car ride to the apartment. That girl just had way too much energy. As you went to your room, you couldn't help but think about everything that had taken place. You closed your eyes, convincing yourself it was nothing.
Tomorrow you would face your fears and get some answers.
