You couldn't pull your gaze away from him. He sparkled in the golden light. The orbs manifested his figure, making him look like a god. Above your head, beside the dark magician girl, stood the dark magician. They both saluted you before rushing towards Zorc at full force. Entering the energy field they created, the magicians attacked. The two managed to partly make it out before a giant hand clamped around each of their bodies, tossing them aside as if they were dolls. The bastard chuckled darkly,
"Is that all you can do against me?"
"My king and queen?", He spat out, almost disgusted with your honorific titles,
"It's pretty pathetic. I'll make sure to finish this soon"
Mana held onto her chest, feeling as her life energy slowly drained away. Her features displayed a pale, white shade. She looked at you, smiling sadly. You held onto her for dear life. With glossy eyes, you pleaded,
"Mana, stop. I cannot allow you to kill yourself"
You glanced at the battle. She looked down, softly grabbing your hand,
"I will fight until I cannot anymore my queen"
Atem observed the scene with worried eyes. You were in no shape to battle. The bruises and marks covering your frame only made the king feel guilty. The thought of losing his best friend only worsened it. He sighed deeply before glaring at Zorc. The aura around him suddenly felt much heavier. Eyes darkening with swirls of cardinal and amethyst, he was enraged. Even with your past memories, you didn't think you've ever seen your king this mad. With narrowed eyes, his deep voice rumbled to life, filling the room,
"Zorc. You will pay!"
Speeding towards the bastard, the dark magician combined its power with the dark magician girl, throwing a major wave of energy straight at Zorc. Blasts of black magic packed the room, attacking Zorc non-stop,
"I will see in the afterlife my queen"
Mana waved happily, before softly fading into the magic of her dark magicians. You sniffled lightly, mentally thanking her for all she had done.
A beam of golden light flew from Atem's Millennium puzzle, straight into the wave. You weakly cheered for your king, praying to the gods that Zorc would be defeated. You felt as if your prayers were heard when the stone tablets against the walls shook in response. Out of them, came the three Egyptian gods, forming into Holactie, the creator of light. You looked up in awe. The sight was absolutely amazing! Wanting to help Atem one last time, you channeled all of your energy into the Millennium maiden ring, putting your heart and soul into it before streaming a beam of energy out of it, combining it with the rest of the magic in the tomb.
Atem glanced at you. The pharaoh's eyes sparkled with adoration. He felt lucky to have such an amazingly strong wife. You were always a fierce warrior, and you would always be. You smirked at the male before limply lying back down, trying to conserve as much energy as possible.
With a determined gaze, Atem ordered,
"Creator Of light! Attack!"

Cracks scattered about the tomb walls as every wave of energy blasted Zorc all at once. You lifted your hand, shielding your eyes away. Underneath the waves of magic he felt, Zorc screamed and screeched,
"No! No-"
Before he could finish, he dissipated in thin air. All the energy seemed to had slowly faded away. The tomb carefully dimmed back into its dark color. Now surrounded by the cracking walls, You lowered your arm, looking up at Atem. He knelt down on one knee, smiling beautifully before holding a hand out to you,
"Come"
You smiled, lacing your fingers with his long ones. He carefully lifted you up, carrying you bridal style,
"Thank you"
He simply nodding before scurrying out the tomb. You chuckled quietly. The happy moment you shared was then shrouded by sadness.
Holding onto your chest, you felt the pain from the situation seep into your body and heart. You closed your eyes momentarily, trying to bear the weight of the situation.
