"Tae was thinking about having a movie night." Jaehyun swings his gym bag over his shoulders.

"That sounds cool, when is he thinking on having it?" Johnny follows Jaehyun out of the locker room.

"Probably next week? He wants to invite Xiaoyangdery and Yuwin too."

"You refer to them as single units now, huh?" Johnny raises an eyebrow as they make it outside.

"What? It's easier to say." Jaehyun chuckles. "Also, he's thinking of having it at the Johnten dorm."

It takes Johnny a second to process the name. "Why exactly? And Ten and I aren't even a thing." he narrows his eyes.

Halloween night immediately crosses his mind but he suppresses the memory.

"Because we haven't been to your dorm since the beginning of the year." Jaehyun smiles innocently.

Johnny shakes his head. "Whatever, I hope Ten agrees to this."

"So that's a yes?" Jaehyun's smile widens as he nudges Johnny in the side.

He rolls his eyes, a smile forming on his lips as well. "What do you think?"

"Move your ass, we're going grocery shopping." Johnny says right as he enters the dorm.

Ten lifts his eyes from his laptop and gives Johnny a confused but also weirded out look.

"Taeyong wants to have movie night here next week, plus we barely have any snacks in here anyway." Johnny continues, heading to the bathroom to take a shower.

"Since when did I agree to this?" Ten questions.

"Shut your face and get ready."

After Johnny's done showering, Ten agrees to drive since he finally found his keys, and to pay Johnny back for driving them to the costume store and halloween party.

"This better be quick, because I have my interview later today." Ten says as he starts the car and pops a new piece of gum into his mouth.

"Yeah, if we don't get sidetracked." Johnny grabs onto the handle above the window for dear life.

In Johnny's opinion, Ten's driving is far worse than his. He's swerving every two seconds and singing very loudly to Billie Eilish, and Johnny's convinced he's gonna die right here, right now.

He doesn't want to die this young, and for the sake of safety and their lives, he turns off the music.

"Hey, why the hell did you stop-" Ten's interrupted by a horn honking at them as they come close corners with their vehicle.

"Because of that." Johnny regains his composure because that kinda scared him a little. "Your reckless driving."

"Like you're one to talk." Ten retorts and reaches out to turn the music back on, but Johnny swats his hand away.

"Do you want to die Ten?" Johnny asks with a voice crack.

"Deep down probably."

"That's depressing."

"Okay, no music." Ten finally sighs. "I actually kinda care about my life."

"My life's on the line too, dumbass."

They finally make it to the grocery store, in one piece (thankfully).

"Okay, where's the popcorn and candy?" Ten asks, scrunching his face up in disgust as when he see the fresh fruit section.

"Um, I don't know let's look around." Johnny grabs a shopping cart.

They pass by multiple aisles of random stuff, and after Ten begging Johnny to buy him a tub of whipped cream (which he ends up complying to, he got sick of Ten complaining), they finally find the candy.

Ten dumps a crap ton of chocolate into the cart, plus a bag of candied nuts for Sicheng, and gummy bears for Taeyong.

"There goes my paycheck." Johnny looks at all the stuff in their cart.

Ten just smiles, just to rub it in Johnny's face that he has to pay for it all.

They get popcorn and leave the store.

"Oh, shit!" Ten plops into the driver's seat, checking his phone. "My interview's in like, seven minutes."

"Well start driving then." Johnny shuts the door.

"I'm going straight to Taco Bell, I don't wanna be late."

"I seriously have to wait there for you?"

"Shut up, I'm driving."
