Chapter 21

Cass's P.O.V.

Since Kayla is coming tonight for dinner, I might as well make a good first impression.

I took a shower and got dressed and straightened my hair and but on some eyeliner and mascara.

I have been working on a few songs. Ive been trying to perfect my voice everyday and my mom says that it is getting better everyday.

I think I might put out an album. If I get enough songs done.

Its a long process.

I jogged downstairs to see Nash. He looks nervous.

"You can really clean yourself up huh" I laughed.

He smiled and got up hugging me. His body towered over me.

We herd a knock at the door.

"I will get it" Our mom said running to the door.

She opened it and Kayla walked in.

I looked at Nash and he mouth was slightly dropping.

I smacked his stomach and he smiled.

"Kayla! Hi" Nash said hugging her.

"Im Cassnadra" I smiled "But call me Cass"

"Nash has told me a lot about you! Its nice to finally meet you" She smiled as we hugged.

"Okay people my turn" Hayes said pushing my and Nash out of the way.

"Im Chad and this is my wife Elizabeth" My dad grinned.

"Its nice to meet you Mrs and Mr Grier"

"Of you can call us by our names, Please we insist" My mom grinned.

Kayla nodded.

Skylynn tapped my thigh and I picked her up.

"And this is Skylynn" I smiled.

"Hi Skylynn"

"My brother likes you!" Skylynn blurted.

Kaylas and Nash's Face got cherry red.

"Ooooooo they didnt reject!!!!" Hayes yelled!

We all laughed.

"Should we start dinner?" Mom said.

We all nodded sitting down at the dinning room table.

***4 days later***

Todays the day.

Im finally going to collage.

We are at the airport and im hugging everyone.

I think Nash is the most upset.

"How long will you be gone?" Skylynn asked with a worried expression on her face.

"I will be back before you know it" I half smiled.

She hugged me tight. "I love you Cassie"

"I love you too Sky!" I hugged her.

I hugged my Dad next. "I cant beilve my little girl is now going to collage! Good luck honey!" He smiled.

I hugged him. "Thanks daddy"

He kissed the top of my head and I went to my mom.

"I love you honey! Good luck out there, we are always one phone call away if you need us"

I hugged her. "Thanks mamma" I murmured into her neck.

I went to Hayes.

"Are you going to be okay without me?" I laughed.

"Psht! What are you talk- Noooo i wont" He said and started fake crying into my shoulder.

I patted the top of his head and giggled. "love you hayesy boo"

"I thought we made this clear that you wont call me that anymore" He pouted.

"Well i just did" I smiled.

Allie also came.

"Facetime me everynight!" she told me like a mother.

I laughed. "I got it mom"

We hugged for a while.

"I will miss you" Allie said.

"I will miss you too"

We pulled away and I looked at Nash.

There was silence until we both engulfed each other in a hug..

"What am I going to do without you" Nash cried.

"Im always here Nash. I love you" I half smiled

"I love you too sissy"

We stood like that a while longer before the speaker came on.

"Flight 231 for San Diego California is now boarding"

We lost each others embrace as I grabbed my carry on.

I looked at everyone one last time before giving a slight smile and walking off to the Plane entrance.

I looked back one last time.

I saw someone new.

Cameron?

I starred at him. Boy he looks terribal!

Red eyes, messed up hair, tear stained face.

Did I DO that to him.

My heart fell to the pitt of my stomach.

"Cassandra!!" I heard my name being screamed.

I entered the thing and looked back one last time. Tears were just about to fall down my cheeks.

"I love you" I mouthed to Cameron before walking to the plane.

I never new any of this could actually happen.

I sat in my seat and pulled out my song book.

I started writing a new song.

Its called Why Try.
