Allegiant SPOILER - If Tris was alive

Chapter 10

Tris POV

2 weeks later

"I don't know what to wear Christina I'm panicking." I was on the phone to Christina trying to figure out my outfit for a date with Tobias.

"What about that grey dress you have?" I sighed and replied saying it was too abnegation like.

"Oh I know, that navy blue tight dress that goes to just above your knee."

"Yes that's perfect thank you." I laughed as I hang up the phone and saw her standing in the door way.

"I have to help you get ready." She always does, her job is hair and beauty so she is kind of good at it.

"Okay, let's get started."

Two hours later and Christina had finally finished curling my hair and applying my make up. Then I heard the door bell ringing. It was a little early for Tobias to be home, so I curiously looked at Christina.

"Um, I'll go get it." I nodded and admired myself in the mirror as she was gone.

"Tris, tris we have to go to the hospital." I met Christina running up the stairs to get me, she looked scared and panicked.

"Christina what's wrong?" She stopped and looked at me, with a hint of tears in her eyes.

"It's Susan, something wrong with the baby and she wants us." At that I quickly ran to grab my bag and put on better shoes that I could move in.

"Let's go, Caleb was at the front door and took us to the hospital in his car.

"It's going to be okay Caleb, everything is going to be fine." I didn't know what the situation was but I really did believe what I was saying.

Tobias POV

I was at work thinking about the surprise I had planned for tris tonight, when my phone rang waking me up from my day dream. I looked at the screen and smiled because it was Tris calling.

"Hey." I said into the phone.

"Tobias, Susan is at the hospital and we are heading there, can you meet us." I packed up my things as she spoke.

"Yeah of course I'm on my way." I hung up the phone and sighed, although I was concerned for our friend, I was also disappointed because I probably won't be able to have dinner with her tonight and show her my surprise.

I got to the hospital just as they did and ran to calebs car. After giving tris a hug I went over Caleb and gave him one to.

"What happened?" He just shrugged off the question and walked inside.

The doctor said only Caleb could see her at the moment so we all sat in the waiting room patiently waiting to hear any news. It was 11 and we still hadn't heard anything everyone was tired and Tris was almost asleep on my shoulder.

"Tris can I ask you something?"

I didn't know if now was the right time to ask this, but it was now or never.
