Tris POV
I was never really one for parties since I grew up in abnegation, but tonight was great I was actually getting into it. I don't drink alcohol but Christina persuaded to me to have a drink, I did but one is enough for me Tobias how ever can actually handle a few. For a while it was only snacks and chatting and the party was starting to dull, I looked outside when I went for fresh air and saw that it was still daylight, maybe only 5 o'clock so the party must not be over now, although we have been here was a while. Everyone started to cheer around me and I looked around to find Tobias but couldn't see him anywhere, then I realised he was who they were cheering at. Tobias was walking to the room with a huge cake in hand, I just laughed as he winked at me and sat it on the table. A herd of people ran over to the table and Tobias walks towards me, he guided me towards the table and whispered in my ear. "Dauntless cake will never get old babe."

I was getting tired so Tobias and I decided it was time we left our own party. After saying our goodbyes, we set off in the car but it didn't look like he was taking me home just yet.
"Where are we going?" Tobias just looked at me and smiled.
"Just wait and see, we aren't long from our destination." I sat back and waited, then I realised we were at the cemetery where my parents were buried. Tears welled up in my eyes as I looked though the big gates.
"Why are we here?" I asked in soft emotion filled voice.
"We celebrated and told our friends, but haven't told your family." Tobias walked around the car opening my door, I grabbed his hand as I hopped out the car and approached the gates of the cemetery.
"Are you ready?" He asked as I looked up into his eyes smiling from ear to ear.
"I'm ready." He nodded and walked me towards my parents gravestones, he motioned me forward once we got there but he was family now so I made him stand by my side.
"Hey mum and dad, Tobias brought me here to tell you some news." I wiped some approaching tears from my eyes and kept speaking. "We're engaged." I smiled up at Tobias and gave him a peck on the lips. "Of course I miss you mum and dad, but right now I couldn't be happy. Well I would be if you were both here, but life is amazing at the moment. I'm getting married and spending the rest of my life with Tobias. I really miss you and love you both so much, good bye." After I blow them a kiss I start to walk away, the realise Tobias is following behind me. I walk closer to listen to what he's saying to my parents.
"I will look after your daughter I promise, thank you for raising such an amazing women." I smiled at him as he was shocked to look up and see me in ears reach.
"Let's go home now tris." Walking out of the cemetery with Tobias's arm around me, made me even more happier knowing I don't just have Caleb as family now, I have Tobias to.
