One day. Just one last day. That's all I got with her before we go back to the academy pretending that nothing happened. We promised each other to do something special on our last day, but now that we have actually come to this, we feel unable to get up from bed and do something. We can't do anything. It's all over, and we can't do anything about it.

-You're thinking again. -She says softly, looking up at me while resting her head on my chest.

-I thought you were asleep. -I reply with a sweet smile.

-I couldn't sleep. I was thinking too. -She sounds slightly sad.

-Are we thinking the same thing? -I play with her hair, swiping it back to reveal her beautiful face.

-I think so...

-Well, let's stop then. Tonight's the night and we should enjoy it. We already spent the whole day in bed.

-How are we supposed to enjoy it?

-Well... -Everything we did together over during this month flashes through my mind as I try to think of something we haven't done yet. Sex, alcohol, movies, sex, alcohol, sex, sex, movies and more alcohol. Yeah, that's basically all we did. -We could go out. -I suggest actually feeling a little excited about it.

-Are you crazy? -She asks laughing as she sits up and looks at me. -Where would we possibly go? The homophobia enthusiasts club? Because I'm pretty sure this town has quite a few.

-Come on. -I say laughing. -I'm sure there's at least one underground gay club around here. Every homophobic town has one.

-Well, I never seen one around...

-Give me a minute. -I say while getting up and grabbing my phone.

-What are you going to do? Talk to your drug dealers, see if they have any gay clients? -She jokes.

-No. -I scoff. -I'm only going to talk to one of them.

I leave with a few chuckles, knowing that I left her low-key worried. After a few texts with my old friend Robb (yes, Robb my ex-boyfriend, Robb) I go back to the room with some good news.

-Did you find something? -She asks me with a smile.

-It's two blocks away. -I chuckle and lay down next to her.

-What? Two blocks away? -She asks in disbelief as I show her a picture Robb sent me. -Why, how... I had no clue...

-It's a very secretive club. Apparently this town has got some history of hate crimes like shootings and fires... Not many people know about that place.

-Okay... -She stops to think for a second. -Okay, let's do it! -She says with an adorable excitement.

-Okay, let's! -I try to keep up with her energy. -I'm just gonna stop by my house really quick to get some new clothes and we can get ready together here. -I say putting my clothes on quickly.

-Sure, I'll get us a few drinks while your gone. -She says just before I go to kiss her goodbye while she's still in bed. -Tequila, right? -She says just as I walk out.

-You know it. -I say happily and get a cute laugh in response.

It was only about 10pm when I left Sarah's apartment so my parents were still at work (they would only get home at 11pm). I had plenty of time to get my shit and walk back to her place, excited for the night to come. I knock on the door (as usual, avoiding the doorbell) and Sarah opens with a smile and a bottle of tequila.

-Fancy seeing you here, Rosa. Although, I really wish you had told me that you were coming over, I'm kind of in the middle of date here. -She jokes and I smile like an idiot.
