My dad was literally dancing when I told him I ranked first in class and second place in all of the juniors in our batch. He even sings when Taehyun said he ranked 8th ( he is next to Beomgyu). Getting an average of 95 like me is really hard in Halsten high school. Even having a grade of 91 is so hard so not many makes it to the rankings.

But my dad is really happy at top 10. I remember when I was young he would always buy me anything I want when I am in the top 10 that mom would sometimes worry that I would grow up to be a spoiled brat haha.

"This calls for a celebration!"

(A/N: OK guys I'm sorry for the confusion but the exams they took and the rankings whatsoever is actually the FINALS. I kinda ran out of events so let's just say Yeonjun and Soobin are already sophomores and the maknae line are already graduating. So basically, they are still juniors. Aaah! I mess up)

My dad then leaves the living room and ran to his office room as Taehyun and me just stood there staring at the direction our dad went then suddenly burst out laughing as that scene is so hilarious.

"I can't believe him" I gasped as I lay down on the couch.

"Me too. I don't know he would be that happy" Taehyun said as I am caught off guard.

Wait, I remember that Taehyun is not with my dad before so he probably hasn't got any present from dad for doing great. It makes me more guilty.

"Dad is happy even in the simplest things. If you actually ask him to buy you an Apple watch, he would" I joked trying to make him experience what I experienced before.

When our dad came down, I immediately took his attention

"Hey dad, do we get Rewards?" I asked already laughing as I look at Taehyun gesturing him to do what I told him to.

"Right. what do you want?" dad asked as Taehyun stood up.

"I want a Mac book, an Apple watch and a pair of shoes if you don't mind" Taehyun said like it is a normal thing to say. And his expression is so lit. But my dad's face looks so amazing. He looks like he was about to go bankrupt making us both break into a laughter.

"I was just playing around with you dad" Taehyun said as he laugh when he suddenly coughs and my dad's face become worried then the bell rang again and as I look back to find it the two of them are already upstairs.

And again, I am here clueless about things and not even knowing what is going on. But remembering what Soobin hyung told me about them waiting for the right time, I went to the kitchen to grab some ice cream.

Then as I am about to turn on the TV my phone buzzed as I smiled at the name

From: BearGyu

"Yah congrats again. You're so cool in toping that board. I hope you'll have a nice vacation."

I am about to type a reply when another message appear. and that caught me off guard.

From: BearGyu (don't tell him I named him that in my phone)

"I like you a lot"

Say what ?!

Then another

From: BearGyu

"Wait that was Soobin hyung messing with my phone. Gosh this is so embarrassing"

I smiled as I type in a reply.

"Well that was unexpected. But thanks. Have a great vacation too "
