Soobin

I kind of have no doubt that Beomgyu was my dad's son but I bet is not from my unknown mom. At first glance at Beomgyu, I can see how his eyes look like my dad's. Heck I am even convinced that he's dad's son more that I'm convinced I am his son. I don't resemble my dad physically and my nanny always say, I resemble my mom so much.

I'm kind of questioning my existence now haha but then me and my dad are really alike when it comes to thinking so yeah.
I do hope Beomgyu is nice since I really think we can get along. And I think he is Kai's age.

Beomgyu

I am nervous as hell when the doctor took some DNA samples from me. I kind of already knew what this is about but I am nervous. What if my uncle is lying? Or mistaken?

"The results will be out tomorrow" the doctor said as Mr Choi nods and we leave.

"You came right on time. I am really not so busy right now and you're lucky I am home when you came" he said as I smiled. "As we wait for the results, you can stay in my house with Soobin. He's a nice kid don't worry though he may me angry at me now." he said as we drove back to his mansion.

Soobin is angry at him? Why?

(24 hours later as I am lazy and I apologize for that)

I woke up on a very comfortable bed. I think I slept so long as it took me until 5 am to finally close my eyes. Mr Choi said I can stay here for a while and if it is proven that I am his son, this room where I am right now will be my room. It is amazing really. It's like a whole house in one room complete with everything.

I smiled sadly as I remember my mom. I miss her so much already. And I think maybe the reason she hid the truth to me was to be with me longer as she is dying. I don't know, I really hope she is happy now.

I heard a knock on the door before Soobin came in with a gentle smile on his face.

"O you're awake. I came here an hour ago and you're still asleep. Did you sleep well?" he asked as I nod. "Great I just came to invite you for breakfast. Dad left already and I bet you're hungry. Come down when you're ready".

"thank you" I said as he smiled again. "Are you not doubting about me?" I asked and he chuckled

"Your eyes resembles my dad's very much and I can see it in one glance so yeah" he said as I nod.

We ate breakfast with him asking about me and me answering until a few moments later, I found myself very comfortable with his presence.

We head to the living room after breakfast as the front door open revealing Mr Choi with a folder in his hold. Crap that maybe the results.
He handed me the envelope as he smiles

"Welcome home son" he said as I open the envelope to find it positive. I cried as he welcomes me with a hug. Because of being so joyful, I missed how Soobin exited the living room to his room.

Soobin

I'm happy for Beomgyu and my dad but I felt so jealous. Beomgyu came here 24 hours ago and dad hugged him proclaiming him his son, while here I am for 18 years and still waiting for the moment he will also hug me or at least pat me on the back or ruffle my hair as he smiles. I don't blame Beomgyu, he is just looking for a family to call his own as his mom passed away not too long ago, but I wish dad will also give me some bit of his attention.

I didn't notice how tears are already falling from my eyes.

"Why dad?" I whispered as I look at the picture of me and my dad on my wall. The only picture we had and that was 17 years ago.

"Soobin hyung" I heard Beomgyu said as I turn towards my door.

"Yeah?" I asked as he ran to me and engulf me in a hug making me smile. It feels warm .

"Thank you for letting me call you hyung. I always dream of having someone to call hyung. Thank you for accepting me" he said and somehow the pain earlier disappears as I pat his back.

"Welcome home" I said making us both laugh until a sound of something fall make us move from each other as we look towards the door to see Kai standing with wide eyes and is about to cry.

Before those tears of his fall, I pull him in as he and Beomgyu look at each other confused.

"Ehem.. Kai this is Beomgyu, my little brother. He is dad's son and he will be living here now and- - - - Kai what's the matter?" I asked as he suddenly burst into tears.

"Will . . . will I. . I. . be. . . al. . alone a. . again?" he sobs as I remember how he is with his brother Taehyun.

"Kai, Beomgyu will not take me away from you. It doesn't mean that because I have him means I will forget you. It only means our circle has grown. Don't you like it? I will still be here and Beomgyu too" I said as he nods.

I sometimes think that his parent's divorce did so much strike on him. And his brother's appearance (though I hate to say it) worsens it.

After Kai calmed down and is sitted on my couch I finally did the introduction.

"Beomgyu, this is Kai. He is a very close friend of mine almost like a brother to me. We grew up together and he's 17. Kai, this is my brother Beomgyu, he is new here so I hope you'll be good to him. He is also 17 turning 18 and you're on the same grade. Believe me you will get along very well" I said as they look awkwardly at each other before Kai stretch out his hands.

"Nice to meet you. I'm sorry about my outburst a while ago. And I'm not a baby if thats what you're thinking" Kai said making Beomgyu smile.

"Yeah thank you. Nice to meet you too. I think you're pretty cool too"

As they talk I got a text from my dad so I went out to check it.

From Mr. Choi

"Hey son, I deposited some extra in your card. Can you take Beomgyu to the mall and buy him things he need? I already enrolled him in Halsten. They're same class with Kai and also teach him how to use a card. I'm going to make him one."

I don't know but after reading the text, I almost jump for joy. He called me son and even if that's just a text I am happy.

I open the door to my room only to find Kai and Beomgyu playing some video games as they seem to be enjoying themselves.

I send a quick text to my dad.

To: Mr. Choi

"Okay Dad noted"

And another text to Yeonjun

To: Yeonjun

"Hey, wanna come with us to the mall today? I have someone to introduce to you. Please? Wait for us at the entrance of your dorm."

Form: Yeonjun

"I guess I can tag along. And I guess Kai did not take this easy. You having  a new friend always seem to upset him"

To: Yeonjun

"He cried the moment I introduced him. But they get along pretty well"

Meanwhile. . . .

Mr. Choi

I smiled as Soobin replied. I realized all I've been texting and saying to him is all about his allowance and his performance. I feel bad to myself for missing out so much time in his life and not acknowledging him everytime.

I hope someday I can accept the fact and just go on with Soobin and now Beomgyu.
