Ifumbled,
fearful for the senior I bumped into.
"I wasn't looking where I was going,
I'm so sorry."
Papers were strewn about,
but the senior said nothing.
I looked up,
and my horror increased.
"You're Sandy," I managed,
"the... the model girl."
The older girl had her eyes
on the phone that had fallen
to the floor.
Quickly, I scooped up
my phone, stood up,
and stretched out a hand to help.
"Please do not touch me," Sandy snapped at me,
"I have yet to wear my gloves."
And I shrank, horridly offended.
Sandy stood up,
and faced me with a sort of
irritation scrunching up her brows.
She twirled a lock of hair in her hands.
"You play Mesmetopia?"
Sandy put it out there easily,
"it seems you're in the Second Sonata
as well, though, a newbie."
And shock flooded in.
A sort of anger blew over my senses,
"I'm not a newbie!"
I am at Level 100, mind you!
Sandy crossed her arms.
"You must be the Rulekeeper."
And judging by how I flinched,
she knew she was right.
And so, Sandy smiled.
"I'm the Exterminator.
Nice to finally meet you, huh?"
Sandy's phone chimed.
The girl expertly slipped on one glove,
and reached for her phone,
sliding on the other glove.

"It's been a while since you've
first come into the Second Sonata,"
she observed,
"you thought I was unreasonable
that day, didn't you?"
That moment,
I decided I hated Sandy's attitude.
Fists clenched, biting down lips,
I grinded my teeth because
I didn't want to admit that yes,
I was wrong.
"I have things to tell you,"
Sandy gestured for us to move to the side
of the corridor, and I followed.
"Things...?" I was skeptic,
then it flickered in me,
"about the game?"
"I suppose," Sandy smiled snidely,
"I believe we should all exchange information,
so we won't get caught up with incidents
like yours again."
I tutted, hating the remark.
Sandy wasn't going to stop reminding
me about it?
She was so petty!
"But we can't talk here,"
Sandy sighed, finger dramatically
dropping onto YES.
"Let's have a PvP, you and I."
