I'm dead a sleep when I hear a clinking noise. I try to ignore it, but it won't stop. Once I wake up a bit, I realize the annoying sound is coming from my window. I crawl out of my bed to see what the hell is going on. I open up my window to find my boyfriend standing outside throwing pebbles at the window.

"What are you doing, Seamus?" I ask my boyfriend in a sleepy voice.

"You won't answer my calls." He replies as he stares up at me.

"That's because I was asleep. It's 3am, Seamus." I tell him.

"But I wanted to see you. Can I come up there?" Seamus asks me as he stumbles over his own feet.

"Are you drunk?" I ask. He just grins. "I'll take that as a yes."
"I'm not! I swear! Baby, please!" Seamus shouts.

"Shhh! People can here you! I can't keep doing this with you. Go home." I say as I begin to shut the window. Seamus is going through a partying phase, which causes him to do dumb shit like turn up at my house at 3 in the morning. I'm getting really sick of it.

"NO DON'T CLOSE-" Seamus yells as I officially shut my window. I lie back in bed and listen to him continue to toss rocks at my window.

The next morning I wake up with 17 missed calls and 43 missed texts from Seamus. Every text is the same. They all read 'CALL ME'. I finally call him back, but he doesn't answer. After a few hours, I decide to go to his house to check up on him.

"Hi, y/n! Seamus is upstairs. Come on in. You can go wake him up" His mother greets me at the door.

"Thanks." I say politely as I make my way to Seamus' bedroom. I find him asleep on top of his bed wearing all his clothes. He's snoring and drooling all over his pillow. I lie down next to him and nudge him awake. "Good morning, sleepy head."

"Hey." Seamus says while half asleep. "Ugh my head hurts."

"Crazy night last night?" I ask him as he rolls over so that he's no longer facing me.

"Kinda." He replies. I nudge him again.

"Wake up. It's 2pm. We were supposed to go to the park this morning, which clearly you forgot." I remind Seamus. He begins to rub his eyes.

"Oh shit. I forgot. Sorry, babe." Seamus says as he reaches his arms out towards me. I back away from his embrace.

"This is like the twelfth time you've forgotten about one of our dates." I tell him.

"I know. I'm sorry." Seamus says.

"Do you even remember last night?" I ask him.

"I remember parts of last night." Seamus mumbles.

"You showed up at my house at 3am...again." I tell Seamus. "I don't know what has gotten into you, but I can't handle this anymore."

"What you saying?" Seamus asks, suddenly looking more awake.

"You're not the you I fell in love with. You're like this crazy, party guy now. I miss the Seamus that would write me love letters while he was away on snowboarding trips, not the Seamus who shows up drunk at 3am." I explain to him.

"I'm still that guy, y/n. Just give me a chance to prove that. I can change." Seamus says. Of course he chooses the most cliché things to say. It's like he's not even trying.

"We've had this exact conversation multiple times and nothing ever changes. I can't keep waiting for you to get your shit together. I'm exhausted and I'm sad, but mostly I'm over this." I say as I stand up from Seamus' bed. He looks as me with mopey eyes.

"But I love you." Seamus says quietly.

"And I love you. But that's not enough for me anymore. I'm sorry, Seamus." I say as I make my way for the door.

"But I'll do anything! Anything! Please! I love you!" Seamus says in a panic.

"Don't. Please don't make this any harder." I say before leaving.
