I sit at the desk in Marcus' room while he reads a book on his bed. Whenever we're in his room we have to keep the door open and we have to sit different place, which is fine because all we're doing is homework.

"You're so pretty." Marcus says randomly while he looks up from his book. I smile at him.

"Aw thanks, babe." I reply as I go back to doing my assignment. A few minutes later, Marcus gets up from his bed and stands behind my chair. He wraps his arms around me and begins to kiss my neck.

"Stop it!" I say with a laugh as Marcus makes his way up and down my neck. I need him to stop, but I don't really want him to.

"Stop what?" Marcus replies. I can feel his lips turn into a smile against my skin.

"You know exactly what you're doing! Babe, please! I have so much homework!" I remind him, but he doesn't care. He turns my chair around so that I'm facing him.

"Take a break from your homework." Marcus asks as he gives me an adorable pouty face.

"I really shouldn't..." I say weakly.

"Pleassssssse?" Marcus begs. He moves his face in closer to mine and I kiss him quickly. I feel him move in for more, but I push him away.

"Okay, you got your kiss! Now let me finish my homework." I say sternly.

"Maybe just one more kiss?" Marcus asks instantly.

"Your bedroom door is open! Your parents could easily walk in! We should just go back to our homework." I whisper to Marcus.

"Oh come on. It's just one more little kiss." Marcus tells me wiht a half smile. He's perfect face makes me want to say yes. I want to kiss him as bad as he wants to kiss me, but I'm more cautious than he is. I want his parents to like me and making out in his bedroom will not make them like me, but I one kiss couldn't hurt.

"Okay. One more quick kiss, and then back to homework. Deal?" I ask Marcus. He just smirks at me and goes back in for a kiss. I should stop him, but I don't. I throw my arms around him and fall completely into the kiss. Our kissing gets intense fast. We attempt to get to his bed for a better location, but end up making out on his bedroom floor. I'm completely on top of him when I hear a something.

"MARCUS!" His mother shouts as we lie on the floor. Our lips disconnect instantly. I move away from Marcus as quickly as possible. I stand up and see the complete look of horror on his mother's face.

"MOM! Please get out!" Marcus says as his face turns a dark shade of red. He runs his fingers through his messy make out hair.

"I need to talk to you! Right now!" His mother says in a serious done. Marcus doesn't argue and follows her into the hallway. I stay quiet and take my seat back at his desk. I attempt to restart my homework, but I'm too distracted by the conversation Marcus is having with his mother.

"I thought you were doing homework up here!" His mother says in a loud whisper.

"We were!" Marcus replies.

"That definitely wasn't homework, Marcus! You know the rules. If you can't stay focused while y/n is here, then maybe she shouldn't be allowed to come over." His mother says. I freeze at the sound of this.

"No! This isn't her fault! I'm sorry. I won't let it happen again. I'll stay focused and I'll follow the rules! I promise. Please let her stay!" Marcus pleads. I can't hear what is said after that, but Marcus comes walking back into the room a few minutes later.

"Hey." I say shyly as I wait for him to tell me how much trouble we're in.

"We have to do our homework in the kitchen from now on...and you're not allowed in my room anymore." Marcus tells me. That seems fair. It sucks, but it's fair.

"Alright." I reply. "How mad is your mom?"

"She's really pissed, but I told her it was my fault. I don't think she'll let us be alone together for a long time, but all I care about is getting to see you so it's okay." Marcus says. His cheeks are still flaming red from the embarrassment, as are mine.

"MARCUS!" His mother shouts from the kitchen.

"We better get down there." I say as I gather my homework from the desk. Marcus starts smiling to himself as he grabs his book off the bed. "Why are you smiling?"

"Because kissing you was worth it." Marcus tells me.
