Today was the big day. The day that would change the Rogers life forever. On the car ride there, Amber watched as Steve and Peggy conversed about his habits of fighting in the allies and not running away. She had to hold back a giggle as the two looked at each other out of pure admiration, it made her think of Bucky and the way he would look at her. Playing with the engagement ring on her finger she wondered if he was alright, or if he was even alive. "Why are we at an antique shop?" Amber curiously asked as the three of them stepped out of the car, ignoring her question Peggy walked inside and greeted the elder woman behind the counter. The antique shop was actually a front, sliding apart what appeared to be a bookshelf, was actually an elevator that brought them to the lower level, it was a large science lab with two bunker pods in the middle. Dr Erskine greeted both Amber and her brother as they approached the pods and began to get ready, stripping down Steve laid in the pod with nothing but his khaki pants while Amber laid in the next pod in a tank top and khaki pants. The other scientist in the room began hooking the twins up, preparing them for the serum transformation. "Well hello darling" a cheeky voice greeted, looking over to her right Amber saw the one and only Howard Stark. "Mr Stark" she curtly greeted, though she had to admit, he was more handsome in person and up close. "You'll be fine, trust me" Howard comforted Amber seeing how tense she was, "Mr Stark are we ready?" Dr Erskine asked, "We may dim half the lights in Brooklyn but we're ready" the pods began to move and the doors closed. It was as if liquid energy was being pumped into her body, the liquid was cold as it mixed with her warm blood. Her body was beginning to burn, it felt like a fire within her skin, "AGHHHH!" both Amber and Steve screamed, the pain from each other added to the pain they were feeling just from themselves. "Shut it down!" they heard Peggy shout from the other side of the pods, "NO! DON'T!" Steve shouted back, "WE CAN DO THIS!" Amber painfully added, by the time Howard had reached one hundred percent, all the pain in their bodies was gone leaving them in pure bliss. 

Feeling the pod doors open, Amber fell limp into what she assumed were Howard Stark's arms. "Where's Steve?" Amber asked as her body readjusted to it's new state, physically Amber didn't look any different, but she felt stronger, faster, healthier. "Put this on first" Howard instructed as he handed her a button down shirt to put over the tank top she was wearing, doing as he said Amber looked around the room to see her brother, only he didn't look like her brother. "S-Steve? Is that y-you?" Amber spluttered out, "I think so" he joked back, "How do you feel?" Peggy asked him as she handed him a shirt, "Taller" Steve panted out, and he was. Physically Steve had changed a lot, he was now over six feet tall and muscular, he looked like the new American dream. "Well aren't we something" Amber joked as Steve pulled her in for a hug. Suddenly gunshots rang throughout the building, Steve had shoved Amber to the ground using his body as a shield, only the shot wasn't meant for them, it was meant for Dr Erskine, and the bullet had hit it's target. Feeling angry Amber and Steve ran after the guy only to discover they were now faster, running through a wave of people the man had taken a little boy hostage. "Okay, don't!" Steve shouted as he kept his hands raised in a surrender position, "No no no don't!" Steve and Amber shouted as the man threw the little boy into the water, "Go! I'll get the boy!" Amber ordered as she dove into the freezing water to pick up the little boy who was slowly sinking. Making sure the little boy got back to his mother, Amber ran back to where she last saw her brother only to see him standing over the man who had taken a poison capsule, killing himself. "What have we gotten into?"
