Our Love Will Last Till The End Of The Line

The Train

The Howling Commandos gathered on top of a snowy hill waiting for Hydra's train to come through the mountains. As Amber studied the map she felt a hand on her lower back, turning around she was ready to snap the man's wrist but it was simply Bucky standing behind her. "Stark did a great job with that uniform" Bucky smirked eying his fiance up and down making her playfully slap his arm. Bucky walked over to Steve who was watching for the train to approach, the team had set up a zip line allowing them the drop over the train. "Remember that time I made you ride the Cyclone at Coney Island?" Bucky asked, "Yeah, and I threw up?" Steve replied, "This isn't payback is it?" Bucky asked as his eyes trailed from the top of the mountain to the end of the zipline, "Now why would I do that?" Steve smirked, "You boys ready?" Amber asked as another one of their teammates said the train was approaching, "Let's do this" Steve said as he went first on the zipline, "See you on the train" Amber told Bucky as she pecked his lips before following her brother. 

Landing on the train, Amber, Bucky and Steve began looking for Hydra's head doctor Zola. "I don't like this" Amber whispered as they traveled through the different compartments of the train. "Up ahead!" Steve shouted seeing the doctor close the door and run closer to the head of the train, Amber and her brother made it through the next compartment but the door shut leaving Bucky behind, "Bucky!" Amber shouted trying to open the door but it was locked shut, a few Hydra men had entered the cart Bucky was trapped in, while a robotic firing weapon shot at Amber and her brother. As Steve took out the firing weapon, Amber rapidly opened the boxes around them looking for something, anything to get the door open. Finding a large Hydra gun Amber fired it at the door that locked Bucky on the other side, the weapon nearly knocked her off her feet but it got the door open. Reaching down, Amber tossed Bucky her pistol since his weapon was out of ammo, all three of them began to fight against the Hydra men. Feeling a rough hand grip her arm, Amber was pulled back into their chest as a beam from the Hydra guns flew by her head, looking over her shoulder Amber saw Bucky angrily staring at the Hydra men as he shot another one. Suddenly a harsh wind felt like it was sucking everything out of the train, a blast from their Hydra guns had bounced off her brother's shield creating a large hole in the side of the cart. "Amber! Move!" Bucky shouted as he pushed her out of the way, landing on the ground one of the Hydra stood over here, the two fought while Bucky ran over to defend Steve who was lying on the floor. Grabbing Steve's shield, Bucky held it up as he raised his gun to fire on the Hydra man who stood above Amber, but before his finger could pull the trigger, one of their blast had hit the shield sending Bucky flying out the hole, "Bucky!" Amber shrieked as he grabbed onto the door, she could tell it wasn't going to last long. By now Steve was up on his feet and desperately reaching out to Bucky who was hanging from the door. It was like everything was in slow motion, she watched as Bucky's fingers brushed past Steve's, the grip he had on the door shook, and his body dropped. "NOO!!" Amber and Steve screamed in unison, overcome with rage Amber used her own shield and knocked the Hydra agent out, scrambling over the edge Amber looked down in hopes to see Bucky holding onto something, but he was gone. He had fallen over two thousand feet, he was dead.
