*GRACE POV*
"Grace?" Hayes asked in disbelief.
"Hayes?" I was so shocked. But I mean, I should've realized that he does live here, but The last time I thought of him was a long, long time ago.
"Um, what are you doing here?" he asked, clearly as shocked as I was.
"I moved back here with Sammy. She's over there." I pointed in her direction. There I go again. Getting lost in his blue eyes.
"Oh, that's nice." he awkwardly smiled. I nodded my head and we were just standing there in the middle of an aisle.
"Well, I better go... See you around?"
"Yeah, definitely." he smiled. I smiled back and started to walk away. "Hey wait up." he called as I was about to turn a corner. I turned back around to see him walking up to me.
"We should talk later, catch up." he half smiled.
"Yeah, that'd be great." I nodded and walked away after he said goodbye.
I don't even know what I was feeling right now. I have mixed emotions, but what I do know, is that the majority of those emotions are extremely happy.
"Sammy!" I called as I approached her, smiling from what just happened. I thought about his appearance. He was very, very attractive. His hair was just perfect, his arms were so muscular, and his face didn't look a whole lot different except that his jawline was more defined and overall he was hot.
"What? Woah why so smiley?" she laughed.
"I'll tell you in the car." I said and she nodded.
"Wait, aren't you forgetting something?"
"What?" I asked.
"The food." she laughed.
"Oh, right." I smiled and went back to the aisles to get everything.
Once that was done, we loaded everything into the car and we went back to the apartment.
"So what happened?" she asked, not taking her eyes off the road.
"Well, first, I ran into a stack of baskets and they almost fell. That was fun." I said sarcastically.
"Oh my god only you." she laughed.
"Shut up." I scolded. "Anyway, after that I ran into someone and I looked up and it was Hayes." I said quieter, trying to hold in my ginormous smile.
"OH MY GOD!" she yelled. "I saw him a few months ago but we didn't really talk and by the way he's hot now. What did he do what did you say?!" she asked really fast.
"Um, well he asked what I was doing here and I told him about the move and he didn't really say much, then I turned around after saying bye, then he stopped me and said we should catch up later." I explained, smiling like an idiot the whole time.
"Oh my lord that's so cute I always knew you guys would find each other again." she squealed.
"And he is really hot."
"I bet you want him in your pants already." she nudged my shoulder as she pulled into the apartment complex.
"I do not!" I protested.
"Whatever floats your boat." she chuckled.
"Bitch." I muttered.
"Boo you whore." she said louder. I laughed as we got out of her car and took all the groceries inside.
"Are you gonna see him?" she asked while we were putting groceries away in the refrigerator and pantry.
"Yeah I guess." I answered.
