Here's a really long chapter for you guys! It's weird writing about New Years in August but oh well.

*HAYES POV*

A plan? Yeah sure. It's just a plan that is drilled into my brain, that's all. I've been going over it in my head 24/7 for the past five days. Now, it is New Years Eve.

Will actually helped me plan it, and Nash is in the loop too. I can't wait until later tonight, and I've only been up for a few hours today, but it feels like forever. I need to express my love for Grace and this is exactly how I will do it, even though we both already know we love each other.

I have turned into such a sappy person.

Grace and I planned on spending the whole day together. No one else but us. I felt bad that Sammy and Joseph wouldn't be with us, but Grace told me that they both had plans with their family or other friends.

I told Grace I had the whole day planned out, so she told me to call her when it was almost time to go. I was taking her somewhere at noon, and then I planned on us hanging out at one of our houses, and then we are going to a party. The party is at some club where a bunch of bands play. Not known bands, but just people.

At 11:30 I called her. I laid down on my bed looking at the ceiling, waiting for her to pick up.

Hello?

Hey Grace, you don't sound excited to talk to me, I chuckled.

Oh sorry Hayes! I didn't check who was calling.

It's fine. So at noon I am picking you up okay?

Yeah sure. I'll be ready. Where are we going?

Grace...

Hayes.... You never tell me!

Fine. Out.

She groaned. Out where?

Out somewhere. I grinned while I could practically see her annoyed face through the phone.

I give up. What do I wear?

Dress casual.

Okay I'll see you soon Hayes.

Bye Grace.

I l- bye. She said quickly and hung up. I know she was going to say I love you, but like I've said before, she doesn't want to really act like a couple yet.

I stare at the ceiling once again for a few minutes. I didn't even realize that I was smiling until I was knocked out of my train of thought by my dad. He was in town for winter break.

"Hey buddy, what are you doing?" He let out a light chuckle at my state. I was flat on my bed with my arms to my side and a big goofy smile on my face.

"Oh, nothing." I sat up and faced him.

"You're a bad liar."

"I know."

"What's on your mind son?" He sat on the bed next to me and waited.

"Grace." I mumbled. He knows everything that's happened, because of Nash, which I don't mind actually.

A small smile crept onto his face and he began to talk. "That why you were smiling like crazy?" He laughed and nodded while laughing also. "Tell me about it, tell me about her."

I knew he was referring to if I have feelings for her or not. Nash told him about the events that happened, but never how I felt. So, I decided to just do it and pour my heart out to my father. Call me a mushy, sappy guy but I really don't give a shit. It's how I feel.
