Secret Love (Rye Beaumont FF)

Chapter 22

Rye's pov:

I just got home from my date with meg. I felt so guilty about what those girls said about her. I know they were just jealous but I know it hurt her and I feel like I have to protect her. But I can't do it if I keep our relationship a secret so tonight I'm telling the boys and tomorrow I'm telling Blair.
She deserve more Than I gave her in the last months.
She gave me everything she had and I didn't but now I'm ready.
I'm ready to give her what she deserves.
As I got in I called everyone down in the living room.
When Jack sat down, I checked that everyone was there and took a deep breath.
Just as I was going to talk brook interrupted me.

Brook:" what's up?"

Rye:" I have to tell you something and before telling blair I want your opinion. So..."

I coughed trying to take time to find the right words to say this.
I looked at Andy and he gave me a look of encouragement.

Rye:" I broke up with Jess and I-"

Once again someone interrupted me but this time it was sonny.

Sonny:" what? why? You seemed so happy."

Rye:" I... I hope this won't change anything but I've met my ex and I cheated on Jess."

I looked on their faces and all of them were speechless. Not Andy, of course.

Andy:" finally you decided to tell her. She didn't deserve any of that.but im proud of you. You faced the problem and solved it. "

Jack:" wait, you knew it? "

Rye:" yes, he caught me so..."

Andy:"unluckily."

Brook:" so now you don't have a girlfriend?"

Rye:"not exactly. I got back with my ex but it's complicate. I left her before joining the band but I never actually stopped loving her."

Andy:" tell them who she is."

Andy spoke almost annoyed.

Rye:"it's Megan, the girl that did our marketing project."

I said feeling embarrassed.

Brook:" what? Are you kidding me? Even when we worked together?"

I just nodded.

Jack:" Blair would have killed you."

Rye:" I know and he will probably kill when I tell him. "

Brook:" probably. "

Brook laughed.

Andy:" you know what, as long as your happy I'm going to support you. I didn't even like Jess. "

As he said that I felt a weight being lifted off my chest.

Rye:" thanks Andy. "

He got up and we hugged.
Having his support means a lot to me.

Sonny:" man, I wanna know her though. "

Sonny smiled before hugging me.
He still doesn't know her. He started the trial after the last meeting.

Rye:"yes."

I hugged brook and Jack sitting down on the sofa again.

Andy:" when are you telling Blair?"

Andy asked.

Rye:" I was thinking tomorrow."

He nodded as I spoke.

Rye:" do you think he will be mad at me?"

Jack:" I don't know but I don't think he will be against you and Megan being together. We don't work together anymore. "

Rye:" I'm just so nervous. I promised her I would tell him but I'm scared of his reaction."

Sonny:" Blair is always really empathic. I'm sure he will support you."

Rye:" then I'll tell him tomorrow when he's coming. Let's hope for the best. Goodnight."

I said before getting and going upstairs to my room.
Maybe if I sleep I will calm down.
I got in bed and tried to sleep but all I did was turn around and think about Blair's reaction.
I wonder if meg is still up.
I dualled her number and juts as I called her I noticed how late it is.
It's almost two in the morning. I don't think she will answer but just as I was going to hang up I heard her sleepy voice.

Megan:" hey. What happened? It must be important as you woke me up at two in the morning."

I chuckled as she spoke.

Rye:" actually it's not that important. I just can't sleep."

I admitted feeling a bit guilty that I woke her so late.

Megan:" what's keeping you up? "

She asked and i couldn't hold back a small smile as realized that she will always be byy side. No matter what.

Rye:" tomorrow, I'll tell Blair about us and I can't stop thinking about it."

Megan:" you're telling him? For real?"

She asked with a surprised voice.

Rye:" yes, is it so hard to believe?"

Megan:" sorry but yes, it is."

She giggled and that sound made me relax.

Rye:" well I'm telling him and I'm scared about his reaction. What if is not OK with it? What if he kiks me out of the band?"

As I spoke she interrupted me.

Megan:" rye, first of all I think you're exaggerating. He won't kik you out and I would never let you do that. Anyway, calm down, breath and get some sleep. I'll call you tomorrow now let me sleep. "

Rye:" yes, I love you. Goodnight."

Megan :" I love you too. "

That's the last thing I heard before she hang up on the phone.
I felt weirdly calm after her words.
She's still able to calm my nerves.
I put down my phone, closed my eyes and I immediately fell asleep.

A/N
New chapter of secret love.
Rye's pov, again. Short chapter, I know but this is just a small transition for something bigger.
