Chapter 24

Rye's pov:

Megan:" I'm so nervous."

She admitted giggling a bit.

Rye:" why are you nervous? You already know them."

We are going to meet my family. We are going at my house for lunch.

Megan :" I don't. It's just that they don't know we are together and we broke up four years ago and-"

Before she could continue panicking I stopped her.
I rested my hands on her shoulders as we stood in the car, waiting to get out.

Rye:" you don't have to be nervous. They loved you and they still do. Don't worry. "

She did a small smile, which seemed quite fake and I kissed her quickly.

Rye:" let's go."

I smiled before getting out of the car and walking up the path to the door.

Rye :" breath. "

I told her as we stopped in front of the door.
I rang the doorbell and in a minute Robbie opened the door.

Robbie:" oh hey rye! What are you doing here?"

He spoke while embracing me in a warm hug.

Rye:" surprise."

I said while hugging him.
Then my mom appeared from the kitchen door.
I hugged her and she smiled widely. Both Mt parents knew about me coming but I wanted it to be a surprise for my bothers. Though they didn't know that i was bringing meg just that I had another person with me.
Then I turned around to check on meg.
She was talking with Robbie. He seemed chill about her being here and I'm also kind of surprised that he recognized her.

Mom:" hello."

As I spoke Robbie and meg stepped towards us.

Mom:" oh dear. It's so nice to see you again."

My mom pulled her in a hug and she didn't hesitate on hugging her back.

Megan:" it's really nice to see you too."

She smiled.
Then my dad appeared in the living room.

Dad:" hi Ryan. "

He hugged me.

Rye:" where are the twins?"

As I asked that my mom told me that they're upstairs so I left meg with my mom and got upstairs to the twins' room.
The door was closed so I knocked and before they could answer I got in and they literally jumped on me.
I lifted them off the floor and hugged them tightly.

Rye:" I missed you."

They spoke in sync and told me that they missed me too.
Then my mom's voice interrupted our moment.

"lunch is ready."

She yelled from the kitchen.

Rye:" come on guys let's go. I'm hungry, are you hungry?"

The nodded laughing as I tickled both of them.
We got to the kitchen and the twins greeted meg. I'm actually really surprised that everyone remembered her. I wasn't expecting it.
We all sat down at the table.
I sat next to meg and she gave me a small smile.

Rye:" are you ok? "

She nodded smiling then we started eating.

Mom:" so Megan, what do you do now?"

My asked. We still haven't told them that we got back together but I think my mum will get there soon.

Megan:" I've just graduated and I work in a office in london. "
