"No, I'm sorry for not telling you." I said.
"It's okay, I understand it's a difficult subject for you." He said taking my hands and kiss them.
He gave me a tight hug and I put my head on his chest.
"Oh, by the way. He raped her too." Mia said and I glared at her.
Jack hugged me harder and gave me little kisses on the top of my head.
"And now, what can we do?" Daniel asked.
"Nothing." Mia said.
"What do you mean nothing?! There's got to be something we can do." Jonah said.
"The police told me to keep an eye on her. And Summer?!" My dad said and I looked at him.
"I think it's better you stay here. Because our house the first place where he'll look for you." He continued and I looked at Jack.
"You don't need to ask. I was about to ask you if you wanted to come live with me." Jack said.
I gave him a weak smile and a kiss on his lips.
Being with him makes me feel like I'm home, makes me feel safe and calm. I love this man so much.
I put my head back on his chest.
"Well, I'll bring some of your most essential things." My dad said.
"Dad?!"
"Yes?"
"Be careful, okay?"
"Of course, sweetheart."
He went out and Jack was playing with my hair.
"Do you want to go to my room? Or should I say, our room!" Jack asked excited.
I nodded and we went to our bedroom, we lay in our bed and coddled until I fell asleep in his chest.
