⛱ 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 ⛱
I was getting ready for Zach's birthday party when I heard the doorbell.
"Dad, it's Jack! Can you open the door for me, please?" I screamed from my room.
"Okay, honey!" He screamed back.
I looked at myself one last time in the mirror.
I went downstairs and Jack came to me, he gave me a kiss and put his arm around my waist.
"You look beautiful, as always!" He told me.
"Well, you also don't look bad." I said with a smirk.
"Are the lovebirds ready or not?" My dad asked.
"Let's go!" I said rolling my eyes.
We got in the car and Jack drove to his and the boys house.
When we got here, I saw Zach go talk to Rose, but I didn't had time to give him a hug, because Jack took me to the kitchen.
"Jack?! What was that for?" I asked him.
"You're going to take that cake and you're going to walk up to Zach, singing the happy birthday song." He said pointing at the cake I made, that was on the table.
"No, Jack! I'm not going to do that."
He put his hands on my face and looked me in the eyes.
"You're the strongest girl I know. You're capable of that. I love you and I'll be there to support you."
I smiled at him and kissed him on the lips.
"I'll do it for you."
"No, I want you to do it for yourself, okay?!"
I nodded and he gave me the cake.
"Now, wait till Jonah talks."
When I heard Jonah, I took a deep breath, came out of the kitchen and started singing the happy birthday song.
I looked at Zach, he had a surprised look and the tears falling down his face.
When I came up to him, I wiped his tears and put the cake up so he could erase the candles.
"Happy Birthday Zach!"
He erased the candles, and everybody applauded.
He took the cake out of my hands and gave it to Jonah.
