I opened my eyes and saw the most beautiful face in the universe, but she had red eyes and tears falling down on her red cheeks.
I opened and closed my eyes a few times to make sure I was seeing everything well, but everything remained the same except for a smile popped into her face.
"Jack?! How do you feel?" She asked with her angelic voice that I love to hear.
"I'm fine. I think."
I started looking around and I saw that I was in a hospital bed.
"What happened? Why am I in a hospital bed?"
Another tear fell from her eye.
"You don't remember?" She asked me.
I started thinking about past events, the premiere event of Summer, then Max showed up and I...
"Did I got shot?"
She nodded.
"How long have I been here?"
She bit her lip and looked down, I never stopped looking at her face.
I shook her hand, making her look at me.
"Five months. The worst five months of my life."
Five months?! I've been sleeping for five months?
I looked at our hands and I noticed her belly.
It was big but not too big.
I took my hand from her and put it in her belly.
I felt a kick.
I looked at Summer and she had a smile on her face.
"Looks like he missed his dad."
