Robin stared down at the plate of food in front of her. She was sat down in the great hall, alone, and she could feel the hundreds of eyes staring at her, whispering. She hated being at the center of this and all these rumours people made carelessly. She pushed her plate away, stood up, and headed for the door, perfectly aware of the shifting gazes of the students surrounding her. She couldn't spot any people that didn't seem interested in her and her personal life. She sighed loudly.
"Can't you all just mind your own bloody business?" She exclaimed loudly. All heads turned towards her, but she stood there impatiently. "I mean, don't you have things to talk about? News from your families? Careers to pursue? Lives?"
They all stared at her in shock. She blew a strand of hair out of her face and crossed her arms.
"I'll take that as a no." She said, turning on her heels and hastily exiting the great hall.
Another day, another lot of people to tell off, another potions class.

"Oh, come on love. It was brave." James Potter told her, laughing."Well isn't that what every girl wants to hear? 'Hey, that new look is brave, but it's ugly,' or 'Hey, that move was brave, and ridiculously stupid.'" She replied snarkily.
"Brave isn't always bad." He scolded, offended.
"What, is that your motto?" She giggled.
"Oh, shove off."
"Do you know if your friends still hate me?"
"Yes, they do. Although, had you not snuck up on us and listened in on our private conversations, I'm sure they would have loved you."
"Well isn't that a sweet thing to say?" Robin replied bitterly. She was still feeling so guilty, and it didn't make it better that the people she wanted to forgive her were enjoying every last bit of her misery. But she didn't have the time to finish her thought, before a paper airplane made its way to her desk. She looked around and saw Sirius Black looking at her expectingly, waving his hand, gesturing for her to open it. She unfolded the plane to read the neatly written message on the inside.
What are you doing with James?
She shook her head disapprovingly at the idiocy of Sirius Black.
We're potions partners. What do you think?
She folded the paper airplane and sent it back to Sirius as the teacher wasn't looking.
Sirius chuckled slightly at the sarcasm and sent back his message.
You know what I mean.
The problem was, she did. She knew exactly what he meant.
We've decided to be friends.
Sirius looked from her to James again and again, before finally sighing, exasperated.
Friends? How did you convince him to do that?
Robin gave him a playful glare and wrote down her answer.
I didn't. It was his idea.
Sirius raised his eyebrows at her. He shook his head, still grinning like a madman.
I need to talk to Remus. It's time to make a few bets.
He grinned widely at her, before turning his attention to Remus, who was doing his best to work next to Narcissa Black, who's incessant blabbing was infuriating. Robin knew from experience.
"Well, what was that?" James smirked at her, "Did you just talk to Sirius and make him... Smile?"
"Yes. He's going to place a bet with Remus." She replied, doing her best to suppress the smile she so evidently had.
"Do you want to make a bet as well?"James grinned evilly.
"Well, of course! What kind of Slytherin would I be if I didn't get back at them?" She looked over to the end of the room qmd saw Remus and Sirius laughing. They both looked so much happier than she had ever seen them. She knew exactly what would happen next.
"Oh James. You evil little thing."
"Well what kind of person would I be if I didn't bet on my friends chance of happiness?"
"Well they're going to get together so soon it won't matter anyway."
"Are you kidding me? Remus and Sirius are way too stubborn to admit they have feelings for each other. I'd give it at least a month."
"Well there's our bet. If they get together anytime before a month, I win, and if they get together anytime after a month, you win. I bet you... Ten galleons."
"You're on."
She looked at the two boys, laughing and smiling. The two ignored their partners, who were so desperately wondering what to do with their potions. So happy, and yet they wouldn't admit it. Maybe they just need a little bit of... Help.
