They were moved into the labor and delivery unit Angel and Harry were put out while the nurses readied Alexis for labor

The door opened Harry and Angel both turned "father come in" Harry patted Angel's shoulder and stepped in Alexis was in a hospital gown a new mask on her face this one strapped around her head he had stuff shoved at his chest "its cpap its pressured air so when she breaths it keeps her airway open a little longer" the doctor explained as Harry got on a hat, gloves, and a gown

Harry went next to the bed Alexis didn't sound so terrible anymore he kissed her head "we've already put her into labor now we just wait for contractions"

Harry grabbed her hand and brought it to his lips kissing it she was a touch cold

All too soon Alexis was ready and she was scared she looked up at Harry "you have this baby girl" he praised

"Yes you do now give me a push" the doctor smiled knowing this was gunna be rough on Alexis

She pushed squeezing Harry's hand gasping for breath after

Harry noticed her fingers were just the slightest bit blue he frowned deeply and kissed them she squeezed his hand again he rubbed her arm "so good darling you're doing wonderful" he winced when he heard her scream then gasp for air

"Nearly there" the doctor announced

Harry leaned down and kissed her cheek he noticed her lips were also tinted blue "you're amazing princess you're doing so so good" he whispered hoping he was heard over her own coughing "you deserve the world my love you deserve anything and everything you want and I'll give it to you" he felt himself tearing up she was coughing and wheezing so loud his ear drums felt like they would burst he couldn't imagine that kinda sound in his own chest

She screamed and he had to move away but he still held her arm and hand for encouragement he slowly realized he heard something else

Harry turned there in the doctors arms was a pale bluish screaming baby Alexis saw this too and for a moment she forgot all about her breathing "you wanna come cut the cord?" The doctor held the scissors to Harry Alexis took her hand from Harry telling him to go without speaking

He slowly walked over the nurses had already clamped the cord so Harry just cut it the doctor patted his arm as a congrats Alexis held her arms open the doctor walked closer and laid Michael on her chest

Alexis tried her hardest not cough with Michael so close she was already crying but now her new tears were ones of joy she touched his back and wished she could kiss his head "oh Mikey" she coughed after and made him jump and cry

The doctor took him "gunna clean him and warm him up"

Harry was crying too he looked down at Alexis who was straining to turn her head to see her son he felt bad but he left the bedside and walked over to the nurses he pulled out his phone he snapped a few pictures and took a long shaky video

Once Michael was wrapped up they passed him back to Alexis the doctor grabbed Harry before he could join "we're gunna administer the epi now don't get freaked out let us take care of her you'll have to hold the baby while we do this" Harry had almost forgot about this part she was still coughing she was still wheezing this had to happen

Harry nodded the doctor nodded and walked to Alexis "the nurses are getting the epi" she looked up at him she defensively held Michael closer to her chest "you can't hold him while we do this" she looked at Harry

"I'm sorry I've got him okay" Harry scooped him up even though Alexis held onto him hesitating to let go "I have him I promise you'll have him the second the doctor says you can" he reassured Alexis
