I woke up to the pleasant smell of bacon and eggs. I sat up in bed and looked towards the kitchen.

"Good morning sleepy head." Remington smiled before taking the toast out of the toaster.

"Hi." I yawned then walked to the restroom to change and get ready for the day.

When i finished i sat down at the table and waited for Remington to finish making my plate. He sat the plate down in front of me and sat in his chair.

"So what's the plan for today?" I asked before taking a bite of my food.

"I was thinking about going hiking or riding on the hills. We can probably pick a area to set up a picnic. We can eat lunch." Remington smiled.

"Sounds good." I smiled back.

-1 hour later-

We finished eating breakfast and cleaning the kitchen so we packed a blanket, a beach bag with food, some pillows, and some drinks.

We got into the car and headed our way towards the hills. We played some music on the way there as i fidgetted with my necklace.

When we arrived Remington unpacked everything except the food or drinks since we weren't hungry yet. He sat the blanket down and put the 2 pillows down on top.

"So what do you want to do?" Remington sighed as he stood on the other side of the blanket.

"We can just look at the view, take pictures, play games, or talk." I shrugged while slipping my shoes off and stepping on to the blanket. He did the same and sat next to me.

"I dont think most people choose Oklahoma as a long term vacation." Remington laid his head down onto the pillow with his hands behind his head.

"Im sure some people do. They probably go to Turner falls like we did or go hiking or probably somewhere else here in Oklahoma." I said as i leaned on my elbows.

I sighed and laid my head down next to Remington's. He chuckled as rolled over to his side.

"Are you enjoying this trip?" He smiled. I smiled back and nodded.

"That forest fire was crazy though." I sighed. "And that mess that happened after." I said quietly.

"Yea. Let me know when you get hungry for lunch ok?" Remington said as he tried to change the topic of our conversation. I nodded my head and sat back up.

"Ok. Can we play some music?" I asked. Remington stood up and walked towards the car and played some songs from his playlist. Some of his songs i knew and some of them i didn't so i was trying out some new songs.

After a couple of hours of talking and joking around we got hungry so we pulled out the picnic bag and began to eat. We sat in silence for a bit until Remington started a conversation.

"So who is your favorite artist?" He asked me.

"Well im really into Guns N' Roses at the moment so Axl Rose." I said with a shrug.

"He is an asshole though!" Remington said in disgust. I went wide eyed and looked up at him which made him laugh at my face expression of surprise.

"But he is cute, not only that but he is also a good artist! Now don't get me wrong, he WAS cute, not anymore." I chuckled.

"Have you seen how he treats people!?" He said.

"No. I really haven't researched about him like i do with other people i get obsessed with." I answered.

"Oh well, he is a straight up douche bag. Just saying." Remington said before taking a bite of his sandwich.

"His music is good though." I whinned. "How is he a douche bag?" I looked at him.

"A guy was recording the concert and Axl stopped a performance to tell the security guards to take the fans camera. When the security guards decided not to take it then he decided to dive into the crowd and grab the camera himself. When he got back on stage he ended the concert and stormed off of stage. So yea, he is a douche." Remington explained giving a small shrug at the end.

"Well." I said with a laugh after. "I dont know what to say, i have to see for myself." I chuckled again.

"He might be cute but once you get to know him, he wont be so cute." Remington winked.

"Well that's true. I thought you were cute until i got to know you, you aren't as cute anymore." I shrugged. He looked at me with a dropped jaw.

"IM JOKING." I laughed when i saw his expression. "You're very good looking." I smiled.

"Only good looking!" Remington said with a small laugh. I bursted out with laughter at his reactions.

"You're cute, hot, sexy, adorable, dreamy! You are such alittle attention hog." I chuckled.

"Hey you are too! Except you're a bigger one than me." Remington scrunched his face and smiled. I rolled my eyes and finished my sandwich. I put my trash into a bag and sat back down.

"If you were in a relationship and your girl didn't hug you or kiss you, what would you do?" I asked with a smirk.

"I'd hug and kiss her until she does it back." Remington said while looking at his sandwich.

"And what if she doesn't like that and she pushes you off. She doesn't like attention from you and doesn't want to give it to you?" I phrased it in another way.

"Then I'd probably get tired of it and break up with her." He said simply.

"See, you're an attention hog." I stuck my tongue out.

"I bet you would do the same if a guy was the same way." Remington looked up at me. I sighed and nodded my head.

"Yea i guess i would." I looked down. "But if they wanted some space i wouldn't break up with them. I do love attention though." I explained.

"I'll keep that noted." Remington mummbled then threw his trash away.

"What?" I chuckled. He looked up at me and shook his head with a shrug like he didn't say anything.

"So what do you want to do now?" Remington asked before sitting back down.

"I dont know. Just hang out i guess. There is a pretty view so lets just enjoy it and we can watch the sun set." I said with my legs crossed

We sat and watched the sun set while listening to music and when it finally got dark we packed up and went to our cabin.

When we got to the cabin we ate dinner, watched a movie, then went to bed.
