Ch. 57: Flat line.

-1 Week Later, November 13, 2013-

-Reina's p.o.v-

Today's the day we go to court for Josh's trial. The court waited until he was well enough for his arrival, he still seemed unstable though. I was nervous and his mom and dad seemed angry at the sight of Don. We sat down in the benches and waited for the trial to begin.

I didn't get much sleep last night. We bailed Josh out after his arrest and spent some nights talking about everything which is part of the reason why i couldn't sleep, too much worrying.

-2 hours later-

-Reina's p.o.v-

They've been going on for a while and still nothing has been determined besides assault. I was called up to the stand a few times but it seem like it didn't help. They're thinking about continuing to friday.

We walked out with Josh and Don was transported back to the hospital. Josh's mom broke down and Josh hugged her.

"Don't cry. Im not going to prison and im not going to be charged with anything. I wasn't in the wrong and they'll figure it out soon enough." Josh said.

"I know but this is too much to have on your little soul." She sniffled.

"Mom im fine." Josh pulled her back and held her shoulders to look at her. Chris and I just stood back and watched silently.

"Come on. Lets get home." Chris put an arm around Krystal and lead us to the car.

The rest of the day we stayed home. It's been a real downer lately and we've been up to nothing.

-November 14, 2013-

-Reina's p.o.v-

I woke up the next morning to a phone call. It was a random number. I picked up and sat up tiredly.

*answers phone*

"You killed him!" I heard Don's dad on the other line. I instantly ran to the bathroom and threw up after thinking about it and when i came back i replied.

"What!?"

"He's dead! Your cousins going to pay for this."

"He didn't mean to. H-he was just trying to protect me! Your son treated me like absolute shit, im sorry but i don't think i know what you're saying."

"He fucking flat lined for God's sake! Are you dumb!? You killed my son!" He replied. I didn't reply and instead i sat in shock. I hung up and began crying.

*ends phone call*

"KRYSTAL, JOSH!" I ran out of the room crying. It must've been 6 in the morning or something because Krystal and Josh were still asleep and i had just woken them up.

"What? What's wrong? Are you ok?" Josh tended to me quickly. I looked at him and let the tears pour out of my eyes easily. "What is it, tell me!?" He asked in worry.

"He's dead." I sniffled. He didn't say anything except look at me.

"I-im sorry what? Who?" He said. Krystal stood back and just looked at us.
