Ch. 43: Not Coming Back.

Its about 12:40 in the morning and im hanging out on the couch when i get a call from Remington.

*answers phone*

"Hello?"

"Hey."

"Hi! What're you doing up so late?"

"Just couldn't sleep, figured I'd just call you and stay up and have some nice talks."

"Alright. Well what're you doing?"

"Nothing just laying in bed."

"Oh."

After 2 hours of having a pretty casual conversation before we jump into a topic about memories.

"Remember when you first got my number?"

"Yea."

"I really didn't think you'd text me and i thought if you did then you'd probably leak the messages."

"I remember when i got your number i was terrified to text you. I thought you were going to like me but then eventually get annoyed."

"No i knew you were pretty chill and instead of coming to find you to be annoying, i found you to be the best person i ever met in my life."

"Aw i love you."

"I love you too."

"So what's going to happen when i get back to you after my week break?"

"Continue touring and live our normal lives."

"How's Cali?"

"She is being a good girl. She is sleeping next to me."

"Thats cute."

"Have you told her?" I heard Remington's manager speak in the back ground.

"No." Remington sighed.

"Who was that?"

"Jessica. We need to talk."

"Whats wrong?"

"She thinks you've been a distraction on my work. She said that she notices the difference in my work from when your around compared to when you aren't. She thinks i preform better or that i concentrate better in the show."

"I don't see it. So what? I cant do anything about it. Im stuck with you guys until tour ends." I said a bit annoyed.

"You think you're 'stuck' with us?" He asked a bit hurt.

"No i didn't mean it like that and you know it." I sighed.

"No you know what! If you really think that then go ahead and stay down there. I'll even buy you a ticket to California so you can pack everything and go back to your parents house!"

"REMINGTON!" I yelled into the phone.

"Reina!" He mocked me.

"Wow." I sighed with tears coming to my eyes.

"What?" Remington asked.

"You really want me gone?" I choked out.

"No its not that. I dont want you gone but if you think you're stuck with us then you can just leave."

"Remington i didn't mean it like that! Why are you being like this all of a sudden, you've never talked to me this way?"

Josh walked into the room and looked at me concerned. I looked at him and back at my hand that i was fidgeting. He nodded his head once as if to ask what was up.
