Ch. 11: The Green Monster.

-1 week and half later, August 13, 2013-

Today we are packing to go to Turner Falls again. I washed my swim suit since the accident so im able to wear it. Remington is deciding to wear his other trunks that he bought and maybe a muscle shirt. We might follow a trail that leads away from the falls and apparently there is a small pool down the trail so we are going to go check it out ourselves.

"Do we have everything that we need?" Remington asked before closing the door. I nodded and put the last beach bag into the trunk and sat in the passenger seat.

"So are we going to swim at the falls then check the pool out or what?" I asked him.

"We can do whatever but i heard that the pool is ice cold, it's colder than the falls. I'd say lets swim in the pool and then swim at the falls so we can warm up in the water afterwards." Remington answered.

We pulled up and unpacked things that we only need for now like sun screen, two sandwiches, one pair of goggles, and two towels. When we arrived to the pool Remington applied some sun screen to my back, neck, and shoulders.

"Ok, im going to check it out." I said as i slowly walked into the water. I gasped and looked at Remington. "It's cold!" I said in a whisper yell. Remington laughed and stepped in behind me holding my arms.

"I don't think i can go in any more." I chuckled as the cold water reached my knees.

"Oh come on, just dont think about the water being cold." Remington said. I shook my head no and then felt his hands forcefully push my shoulders. I fell into the waist high cold water and came up out of the water.

"REMINGTON I HATE YOU!" I yelled and quickly climbed out of the water stumbling on my way out. Remington was just standing there watching me struggle out and laughed. I looked at him and pushed him in wanting to watch him suffer from the cold water but he just stood up and gasped and then stayed there.

"Not that cold actually." Remington shrugged and brushed his hair back.

"Are you kidding me! It's freezing!" I exclaimed. Remington laughed and motioned me to come in. I shook my head and crossed my arms.

"Come on, you can get on my back so you wont be fully submerged." Remington said as he kind of stepped forward.

"How do i know that i can trust you?" I asked with an eye roll.

"Reina. You can trust me i promise." Remington tilted his head. I sighed and dropped my arms. I walked back into the water and climbed onto his back wrapping my legs around his hips. I held onto him tightly and the deeper we got, the tighter my grip around his shoulder and chest got.

"Ok now i have to pee." I laughed.

"Well go pee." Remington said as he sat me down in the shallow part.

"Ok I'll be right back." I said. I grabbed a towel and walked down the trail. On the way down i saw two guys and one girl walking down the trail.

"Good evening." One of the guys said. I smiled and waved.

"They must be going down to the pool or might follow a trail up the mountain to go to a cave." I thought to myself.
