Ch. 40: A Night Full Of Fun.

-October 11, 2013-

-Reina's p.o.v-

"Ok so here is the plan for you surprising him." Josh turned the car off and turned off the head lights. I gave him my attention and unbuckled my seat belt.

"Im going to walk in and tell him that the reason why im so late is because somebody hit my car. What you're going to do is hide behind the corner and wait for him to come out and look for the damage and when he looks for it, you come around and start apologizing." He explains.

"Man i thought it would be so much more intense." I laughed.

"Well im not trying to give the old man a heart attack. I just want his heart racing a bit." Josh chuckled.

"Ok got it." I nodded my head.

"Positions!" Josh clapped and we both got out of the car. I went around the side of the house and hid while Josh went to the front door.

"DAD SOMEBODY HIT MY CAR!" I heard Josh call through the house. I heard Josh, Krystal, and Chris run out.

"Im so sorry i didn't mean to harm the car." I said with sorrow and looked at Chris. Chris looked up to me with confusion at first and then laughed.

"Reina you scared me." He gave me a big hug and he smelt clean from tobacco.

"I thought you were serious Josh!" Krystal laughed and slapped his arm.

"Surprise! Im in town for a week." I said to Chris.

"Oh great." Chris lead us inside.

-2 hours later-

-Reina's p.o.v-

After sitting and chatting with the family about what's been happening, we all go to bed. I walk into my guest room and close the door then fall back onto my bed.

I look at my phone and see a message from Remington that i received about an hour ago. I decide to call him even though its 11 o'clock at night and the boys might be asleep and on their way to Oklahoma.

*answers phone*

"Hey baby." I said with a smile and sat up.

"Hi." I heard him smile back.

"Sorry i didn't answer your message. I was with my cousin and uncle."

"No its fine. I was just wondering how everything was going?"

"Everything is going wonderfully. My cousin, Josh, was super excited to see me and so he took me out to eat. Then i surprised my uncle Chris and we sat and chatted for a bit. Now im in bed."

"Great."

"Yea so i need to tell you something."

"What is it?"

"I told Aunt Krystal and Josh about us."

"Oh no what did they say?"

"Krystal warned me about the media and told me to be super careful but Josh didn't take it too well. He has always been super over protective of me and he told me that im putting your job on the line and we can both get into big trouble if other people who aren't family members find out. We ended up getting into an argument about it but its solved now and he said that he doesn't mind us being together as long as we keep it on the low."

"Ok. I feel like he is your father telling us what to do and what he expects of me." Remington laughed.

"He is older than both of us. He just turned 20."

"Oh."

"Yea but dont worry about him. So where are you guys at now?"

"We just entered Oklahoma."

"How was the show?"

"Good."

"That's good. Well I'll let you go to sleep because you need rest for tomorrow's show. Good night, love you."

"Good night. Love you too."

*ends phone call*

I set my phone down on the bed and got dressed into my pajamas. Im not quite tired yet so i guess i can just lay back and watch videos.

As im doing so i hear my bedroom door crack open. I turned off the lights so i couldn't see who walked in until i turned my phone around to shine some light towards the person who was walking in. It was Josh.

"You trying to sneak out tonight?" Josh asked with a grin.

"Totally." I smiled back. "But im in my night clothes." I added.

"No worries. We use to sneak out in our night clothes all the time, remember?" He shrugged. I smiled and quickly got out of bed and slipped on my shoes.

We walked out of the house quietly and started our direction away from the house.

"Remember the time we snuck out to meet up with your girlfriend and your dad was still at work then he drove by and caught us." I chuckled.

"Oh my god yes. You know later that night my dad slapped the shit out of me because he thought i was going to go do something with her. He thought i was going to do SOMETHING if you know what i mean." He laughed.

"Oh no are you serious!" I gasped with a smile he nodded. "What if we get caught tonight?" I asked.

"Im sure we wont get into as much trouble as we did when we were 13 and 17." He shrugged.

"I was about to say that your uncle will tell my mom but there is really nothing she can do now." I giggled.

"So where are we headed to?" Josh asked.

"I dont know. You're the one who wanted to sneak out." I shrugged.

"How about we go to that one pond we always went to." Josh pointed to the direction it was in.

"Fuck yea!" I said excitedly.

When we were younger we would always sneak out to this pond and Josh would spray paint the back of a building. He did some great art work. I wonder if its still there. Other times, if i was having a rough night, he'd take me to the pond and we'd skip stones while he helped me with the situation.

"Look." Josh pointed at the pond that was in the distance. The water was shiny and sparkly from the reflection of the moon.

"Looks exactly the same from when we were younger." I smiled. "I wonder if your art work is still there." I added.

"Hopefully." He replied.

We sat down under a tree and looked at the water. For a few hours we stayed there and chatted until i got sleepy. When i did Josh gave a piggy back ride back to the house and we went to sleep.
