In Love With Remington Leith (Discontinued)

Ch. 8: A Trip Out Of The Mind.

-July 26, 2019-

-Reina's p.o.v-

I woke up to Remington bouncing on top of me and saying wake up. I quickly shielded the sun light from my eyes and then flipped over with a groan.

"Wake up, Reina!!!!" Remington shouted.

"Whattttt????" I groaned.

"We're going on a road trip to get away from home for alittle bit." Remington laid on top of me and whispered. He rolled off of bed and began to tickle me. I giggled and tried to escape his grip but couldn't.

"Ok. I-im up!" I laughed. He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of bed.

"Lets pack!" He pulled his bag out.

"I just unpacked yesterday though." I whinned.

"Ok fine, we can share clothes. Im warning you though, my clothes might be alittle big." Remington said as he packed some clothes.

"Do you even have a drivers license?" I asked.

"Yes. Im to scared to drive without one." He chuckled. I nodded my head and packed alittle bit of items.

We packed our stuff into the car and said goodbye to Sebastian and Emerson before leaving. When we got into the car and started our way on the road i plugged my phone up and played some music.

"So how long will we be gone?" I asked.

"For as long as we want. I love traveling." Remington smiled. "Well, tour is different but going where ever you want is fun." He laughed.

"Can we go to the four corners? I've always wanted to go." I asked.

"Sure." He shrugged and typed in some directions to a motel close to there.

-8 hours later-

-Reina's p.o.v-

Remington rubbed my cheek to wake me up. I turned around and looked around.

"Where are we? What time is it?" I mummbled as i rubbed my eyes and stretched.

"We are in Arizona. Its 5 P.M." He spoke. "We are getting something to eat because im starving so wake up sleepy head, you're probably hungry too." He rubbed my arm. I smiled and sat up to put my shoes on. We arrived at a small cafe and parked in the front.

We walked in and took a seat at a small booth. We ordered our food and waited for it to arrive.

"I like that we are on this trip." I smiled. Remington smiled back and winked. "Can we sit outside? Ask the waitress." I said. He nodded and went over to the counter to inform them that we would sit outside.

He grabbed my hand and lead me outside to a small table. It was a beautiful day outside since its not to hot or windy.

I took a photo of him out of surprise and smiled as i looked at it. He chuckled and demanded to see it so i showed him and he laughed.

"We are renting a motel by the four corners by the way." Remington said while mixing some sugar into his tea.

"Yea." I nodded my head.

The waitress finally came by with our food and sat it in front of us. We began to eat and had some small talk about past experiences as a kid and some funny stuff. After we finished we payed the bill and continued our way.

-3 hours later-

-Reina's p.o.v-

We arrived to a motel and parked. I waited in the car while Remington ran into the main office to check out a room. He came back out with a key and then parked in front of our room. We walked inside and it was a pretty cozy place. We took our bags out and placed them by the door.

"We finally have a place to rest." Remington sat on the bed.

"Yea! But why two beds? Who's going to use the second bed?" I asked thinking that we would sleep together.

"Me." Remington kind of chuckled in confusion.

"Oh. Ok." I siad as i sat down on one bed.

"Im just joking i can sleep with you Reina." Remington laughed and pinned me down to the bed to start tickling me.

"Stop!" I laughed. "I h-hate when you do this!!" I laughed harder.

"No! I love your laugh!" Remington laughed as he tickled me harder.

I quickly flipped him over onto his back and sat on top of him. He stopped tickling me and then started laughing.

"I got you." I said as i pinned him. He didn't say anything and instead just looked into my eyes for a bit. "What?" I giggled and blushed. He still didn't reply but smiled. I climbed off of him and walked out to the balcony. He followed then wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Will we see the four corners tomorrow?" I asked. Remington nodded his head humming yes. "This veiw is pretty." I smiled.

"Yea it is." Remington chuckled stepping back.

"Shut up!" I rolled my eyes turning around with a smirk. I walked inside and flopped down on the bed.

We spent the rest of the day hanging out in the motel and watching movies. We only went out once to grab some snacks for the road and some food for dinner then came back. When it was time to sleep we slept then woke up the next morning to go see the four corners.

After that we continued on the road and typed in our next destination in the GPS. I was excited to see something new and for the trip.
