Ch. 18: Donovan.

I felt my phone vibrate from a message so i woke up and looked at my phone. It was a mesage from Donovan i was guessing. I climbed off of my bunk carefully and quietly. All the guys were asleep including our bus driver Jason. I sat down on the lounge couch and checked what it said.

(Unknown number): Hey.

Me: Who is this?

(Unknown number): Donovan

I added him to my contacts and put him under Donovan. I continued texting him afterwards.

Me: Oh hey.

Donovan: Hey! How are you doing?

Me: Good. I got home from the beach and just woke up from taking a 2 hour nap.

Donovan: Oh that's nice. Do you have any other plans for the day?

Me: Yea i have to go do sound check with my boyfriend and his brothers and then they have a concert they will be performing today.

Donovan: Oh im actually going to see a band today.

Me: Really what band?

Donovan: Palaye Royale.

My heart skipped a beat knowing that he thinks im cute and his favorite band is Palaye Royale and that im dating a member from the band. This could possibly end terribly or go very well. Maybe i can avoid him if i see him.

Me: Oh I've heard of them. They have good music.

Donovan: Yea. What band is your boyfriend in?

Me: Well his band isn't popular yet so if i say you wont know them.

Donovan: Oh well i bet he is lucky to have you and you're lucky to have him. You are very pretty, i cant get over it.

Me: Thanks.

Donovan: Maybe we should hang out sometime.

Me: Well i dont live here and im going to be traveling alot so i dont think i can.

Donovan: Aw that sucks. Maybe we can meet up today while your boyfriend does sound check?

Me: Maybe, i dont know how he would feel about me meeting up with some guy that i just met 😅. I can ask though.

Donovan: Please do.

Me: Ok where will we meet?

Donovan: We can meet at the beach where i ran into you.

Me: Sounds good. What time?

Donovan: Well right now its 2:49 and my concert doesn't start until 8 so i dont care what time.

Me: Does 5 sound good to you?

Donovan: Yea.

Me: Ok well im going to catch up on sleep and then get ready.

Donovan: Ok text me when you're ready.

I put my phone down and rubbed my eyes. I looked down at the phone then shook my head. I deleted the messages.

"What have i gotten myself into?" I asked myself.

I used the bathroom then climbed back into the bunk. Remington woke up from me climbing in and pulled me into his body with a soft hum.
