Ch. 13: Cutting It Short.

-August 21, 2013-

-Reina's p.o.v-

I woke up to the pleasant smell of coffee that Remington was making. I looked over to the kitchen and didn't see Remington. Instead i heard him outside talking.

I walked towards the back door and walked outside. Remington was sitting on the bench with a cup of coffee in his hand and his phone in his other hand. I stood in front of him and listened in.

"Ok, ok i got it. Bye." Remington said frustrated and put his phone down.

"What is it?" I asked concerned.

"Our tour is starting early so we have to go home today." He answered. "Im sorry Reina, i know how much you like this trip." Remington looked up at me with sorrow.

"Hey, it's ok. We'll be doing more traveling over tour and it'll be fun to see all the bands. It's not your fault." I shrugged and sat next to him. "We can come back some other time, maybe with the boys."

"Ok, well lets get packing i guess." Remington sighed and stood up. I cocked my head and sighed at the sight of Remington's disappointment.

"So are we driving all the way back to Cali and then leave right away?" I asked as i followed him.

"Well from here to California its a 21 hour drive. Tour starts on August 23rd so we will be able to make it there on time before tour starts but we need to pack and leave right now." Remington explained while pulling out our suitcases. I nodded my head and started grabbing our stuff from the bathroom.

-1 hour later-

-Reina's p.o.v-

"Do you have everything Reina?" Remington asked me. I looked around once more and walked out locking the door behind me.

"Yup." I replied. Remington grabbed the door key from me and then put it back on top of the cabin door. He rubbed my back and smiled at me before getting into the car. I got into the car and and grabbed a blanket from the back.

We started our long journey back to California and i took a nice, 5 hour, nap. We stopped a couple of times to either eat, use the restroom, or grab snacks.

"So what's going to take place over tour?" I asked while eating my bag of chips.

"We will be touring here in the United States." Remington glanced over at me and reached for a chip.

"Oh cool. Do you know the order of the state's that we'll be traveling in?" I asked.

"No not yet but there will be a list." Remington said.

"Alright. How do you think we will travel?" I threw another question at him.

"We'll either snake up and down the United States or we'll travel along the top and start moving down." Remington explained.

"Oh alright. Does Emerson know we are dating or have you not told the guys yet?" I grabbed his hand.

"No im thinking about surprising them some how." He held my hand and smiled.

"I was going to say to surprise them by just having a straight up make out session." I laughed. Remington chuckled at the thought.

"Lets do that." Remington agreed.

It was a long drive but we eventually got home and unpacked our dirty clothes. Emerson and Sebastian were currently out buying things we needed for tour.
