In Love With Remington Leith (Discontinued)

Ch. 26: Pranking Emerson.

We walked into the venue to do sound check and the boys walked around to look at the venue. The venue was a pretty good size and after they looked around they started setting up. As i was sitting down i was looking at them setting up and got an idea when i looked at Emerson playing his drums alittle.

"Remington can i speak with you?" I asked him as he was adjusting his microphone. He jumped off of stage and followed me to the back.

"I have an idea." I smiled.

"What is it?" He asked.

"I was thinking about coming out during the show and dumping baby powder all over Emerson's drum set." I giggled.

"Oh my gosh yes, Emerson would hate that!" Remington gave me a high five.

"When should i come out?" I asked him.

"Right after Die For Something Beautiful which is our third song of the night." He said with a grin. I nodded my head and he pulled his wallet out. "Buy about 4 bottles. Jason will help you pour the powder. Here is a 20." He said as he handed me the money.

I walked out and went to the store down the street. Jason came with me and we bought the powder then went back and hid it back stage. A hour later it was show time and as usual i wished everybody luck. The fans wont be expecting me so they'll freak when i run out.

They started singing Die For Something Beautiful so Jason and I both grabbed 2 bottles of baby powder and opened them up.

"Ok. You should go around so you can get one side and I'll come out this way so i can get this side." I said to Jason. "I'll give you a thumbs up when its time to go out." Jason nodded his head then smiled and ran around the other side.

The song came to an end and i quickly gave a thumbs up. We both ran out and started dumping the powder everywhere. The fans started cheering and laughing and whistling. Sebastian and Emerson's jaws dropped and Sebastian bursted out in laughter and so did Remington. Emerson quickly grabbed a bottle from my hand and then threw the powder at me. I laughed and continued with the other bottle before he ran Jason and I off stage.

He sat back down at his drums and started hitting them to get as much powder off as he can and with every hit he started getting angrier and angrier. Jason and I were dying of laughter back stage when Emerson looked at me.

"Im going to get you!" He yelled. I laughed harder and then Remington spoke into the mic.

"Lets see how good Emerson can play with powder on his drums. I have to admit, i was behind this. I gave her the 20 dollars to get the powder." Remington laughed and looked at Emerson. Emerson shook his head.

They started playing again and i watched as powder flew everywhere from Emerson's drums. After every song he would try to wave away the smokey air that was filled with powder. They finally finished the show and at the end Emerson kicked his drums over then threw roses to the fans and quickly walked towards me with Remington and Sebastian following after him.

"You are such a jerk!" Emerson said with a small grin on his face and pointing at me.

"Im not the only one in this!" I laughed. He then looked at Jason and Remington and shook his head with a chuckle.

"Im going to get all of you! Even you Sebastian, you had no effort in stopping them." Emerson turned to Sebastian and Sebastian laughed. Emerson walked to the dressing room and closed the door.
