"Time to face the music," Tobias grins.
"Don't remind me," I laugh as I glance down at my finger.
"Do you like it?" He asks, gesturing to the ring.
"Of course I do. It's beautiful," I look down at it.
He kisses my knuckles. "I have something for you."
I rub my eyes. I stayed up too late talking. Not that I regret it though. "What is it?"
He takes a camera from the desk and hands it to me.
I look at the gallery. "What-wait a second. How did you get the photos?!"
He grins mischievously. "I set it up by the trees,"
"How did you click the photos?" I ask.
He holds up a remote.
"Wow, I can't believe it," I look at the photos with the grin. The Northern lights added so much to them.
"I'll have them printed out some time," He says.
I look at them with awe. He steps closer, lifting my head up.
"Hm?" I grin.
He presses his lips onto mine. My heart rate quickens.
"Sorry," He grins sheepishly as we pull back. "Couldn't resist."
I punch his arm playfully. "Of course you couldn't."
He rolls his eyes. "Come on, now, we don't want to be late for breakfast."
We open the doors to the restaurant. Few friends wave at us from a table and we make our way there.
"Morning," I grin, sitting down.
Tobias sits down, nodding.
We look at each other and then at the ring, fiddling with it.
"Shauna yet has to come," Christina says.
I nod, not knowing how to tell them.
Zeke nudges me and I jump.
"No need to get scared, you. What's gotten into you?" He asks.
"What do you mean?" I ask, my mind wandering away, thinking about if he saw the ring. If my friends find out about our engagement through anything or anyone but us, they'll be really hurt.
I just have to wait till Shauna is here.
"Are you listening?" I hear Zeke's voice.
"What? Sorry," I look at him.
He lets out a long sigh. "Are you doing okay?"
"Yes?" I raise an eyebrow.
"You're acting weird...so..." He trails off, shrugging. "Anyway."
"Gosh, I woke up so late. Sorry!" Shauna takes a seat opposite me.
"You're always late, Shau," George grins.
"Am not!" She laughs.
I clear my throat and everyone looks at me.
"We have an announcement," I look at Tobias.
Christina stares at me with wide eyes. "Are you...?"
I sigh. "You might want to complete that sentence,"
"Pregnant?!"
"What, no!" I laugh.
Tobias face-plams. "Christina..."
