Fluttering her eyes open, Adora awoke with a yawn and a stretch before sitting up right on her bed. The blonde felt her lips curved into a smile when she saw her girlfriend, Catra, sprawled out on her mattress watching the rise and fall of her chest with each short breath she took

After staring a little longer at how the early morning sun hit the feline perfectly, Adora hopped out of the covers before stopping besides Catra's bed "time to get up sleepy head" she cooed, shaking the brunette slightly

Catra groaned into her pillow and threw the bed sheets over her head "5 more minutes" she mumbled after letting a small yawn escape from her lips to which Adora playfully rolled her eyes

"C'mon Catra... we've got a meeting to go to in an hour or so and we can't be late" The blonde beckoned, dragging the duvet off the shorter woman so that her face was visible, causing Catra to let out a wimpier as a slight cold breeze brushed against her features "I'll be back in a bit and you better be up by then"

"Or what?" Asked Catra, shifting slightly so that she was resting on her side "what will you do if I don't get out of bed?" She enquired once again, in such a way that sent chills down Adora's spine

"Or... I'll drag you out myself" she stated, crossing her arms over her chest and standing up right, trying to intimidate the girl in front of her- it didn't work

"Hah. I'd like to see you try" Catra provoked with a smug grin playing on her lips

However, Adora didn't take the bait. Instead she swiftly turned on her heel and sauntered out of the room, not letting Catra see the amused look on her face

As soon as she stepped outside, Adora was met with one of her best friends, Bow, "hi Adora. You seem happy this morning"

"Yeah, you could say that" the blonde smiled, walking along side the archer

"Why? Did something happen?" Asked Bow, tilting his head to one side, quickening his pace so he could keep up with her

Oh no. Should she tell him? Or is it too soon? Would catra be okay with other people knowing?

"Well..." she began, looking anywhere but at Bow "Catra and I made out in the shower and now we're girlfriends" she spluttered out the words so fast that Bow was only just able to understand what she had said

"What?!" Bow shouted with a voice crack "for real?!" He stopped dead I his tracks as his mouth hung agape

"Yeah i know" breathed Adora, feeling her face grow hot "just don't tell anyone yet"

Bow gave a reassuring smile "don't worry! You're secret is safe with me" he beamed

"I'm sorry, you and Catra WHAT?!" Questioned Glimmer teleporting behind Adora, causing the girl to jump

The blonde sent a deadly glare straight to the archer "I thought I told you not to tell anyone"

"I couldn't help it" stated Bow raising his arms up in defence with an apologetic look on his face

"It's alright" Adora sighed "just as long as nobody else kno-"

"So I heard that Adora and Catra are like, now a thing" said Mermista, bursting through the door with Perfuma, Sea Hawk, Swift wind and Frosta behind her
