Henlo little children who is ready for the good old sweet days of writing murderous children and their painful deaths? Rules follow a similar basis as to Canon, EXCEPT this game will be non-anonymous. Basically, everything else follows the same format but instead of tributes being anonymous there will be public reservations as was typical in days past. It's my hope we are all mature enough now to not alliance/mass-kill/coordinate spam-kills to others we find intimidating, and that the system of gamemaker saves and sponsorships can also help eliminate any such bias while retaining a community feel and bringing people back together publicly.

Sponsorships are going to be based in canon. That means along with voting publicly to save people each round, everyone also has the opportunity to vote BY PM ONLY for a tribute they want to see helped. Yes, that's right, you're also going to be helping people along. A specified number of people will be sponsored each task, who by majority in PM will receive some sort of gift to assist them in entry. Sponsors will end in quarterfinals. You MUST send in a name if you also vote, otherwise your vote will not count.

THE GENERAL

The Fifth Annual Writer Games shall consist of twenty-four tributes, from Districts 1-12. Should significant interest be attained, those who wish may be put onto a waitlist, where they will have the chance to either submit a form should someone not hand in a form, or they shall take over or create a new tribute from someone who does not hand in the first task. Waitlist will be first-come-first-serve, just as reservations will be. Should more people not hand in first task than on the waitlist, a conversation will ensue between I and both parties to reach an agreement.

Reservations will be first-come-first-serve. No lottery this time, seeing as we're back to basics and in the tenth Games. You can reserve on the page or by PM.

All deadlines will follow Atlantic Time. This is one hour ahead of Eastern, four hours ahead of Pacific, and four hours behind GMT. Should you follow a different time zone, you will be expected to convert it yourself. Excuses regarding not knowing the correct deadline will not be accepted unless in error by me.

Forms and entries will only be accepted to magmakepner@hotmail.com . No exceptions will be made unless extenuating circumstances come up in which you have typically sent by email but your email is not working for a limited time.

All characters must be unique to you, no reused tributes will be accepted, and should you attempt to submit one you will lose your spot for twenty-four hours.

THE GAME

When you sign up, you acknowledge and recognize this is a commitment. This Game will have eight tasks, running for approximately eight weeks. If you believe time may be an issue, please do not reserve.

I promise to provide at least five days per task, typically up to a week, and no longer than two weeks. I do have a life and a full-time job and so on occasion deadlines may be changed. I will never push them backward, but I will let people aware of any changes by posting on my profile feed or by tagging you. It would be advised to follow me so you can see updates, though it is not required.

Extensions will be working differently this Game, a new mix on old games and new ones. Each competitor shall receive one twenty-four hour extensions. HOWEVER, this extension can only be used within three days of the task being posted, ie. You must make me aware you plan to use your extension within three days of the task being posted. I implement this to probable anger because while I recognize we all have busy lives, I also recognize that we are often procrastinators, and there is often time to write, but just not at the last minute. (Having been a part of AG for, like, five years, I know this by now). However, I recognize that people are busy, and inevitably procrastinate, and so I will also allow a grace period of one hour where 0.25 points will be deducted. If I do not receive all entries, I shall wait for four hours, the first being the aforementioned grace period, and the final three hours being penalized by 0.5 each hour.
