Name: Packard "Keddy" Bevin
Age: 17
District: Three
Sex: Female
Physical Appearance: Packard Bevin is made almost entirely from sharp edges. They are found in the choppy and slightly uneven way she cuts her dark hair, the way her elbows and knees seem to stick out of her thin form, and the sharpness of her jawline. The only thing soft about Keddy is her face; her rounded and smooth features are a stark contrast to her more lanky frame, and her warm brown eyes are a welcoming if somewhat unexpected sight. Despite the way her pale skin resembles porcelain her slight muscle definition and calloused hands made it clear that Keddy is not as fragile as one would think. She's weathered and worn from days of hard work, and she carries herself with a certain fatigued independence as if to purposely display that fact.
Personality: Like many others from Three, Keddy would describe herself as rather analytical. She's much more likely to take her time thinking through a situation logically then to act based on emotion or intuition. Being overly emotional makes a person weak, and in her eyes she is anything but weak. However, beneath her hard and logical exterior it there is an overwhelming amount of feeling the attempts to suppress. Her reality is a strong core sense of what's right and wrong, and a deep passion for those she cares about and what she believes in. While she's aware of this passion she's also lived long enough to see people suffer for those very same traits, so she instead tries to force herself to be objective for the sake of survival. The fact that it sometimes slips out in a quick rebuttal or snide comment is an unavoidable consequence. She is a person of black and white who tries to live her life in shades of gray, and she likes to think it's working out rather well.
Background: Keddy tries not to think of the time before. When the memories do unavoidably cross her mind however they're of a happy young family; her parents, older brother Hewlett, and younger sister Della all living together in harmony in a tiny apartment near District Three's industrial core. However, those memories were quickly replaced with days spent hiding in their apartment with the windows boarded shut, the constant presence of shouting and gunfire from the street below, and hours spent tinkering with old computer parts with Hewie. Despite their attempts to hide it from their children Keddy also remembers many arguments between her parents; while her mother Siria was a realist who believed the best way to protect her children was to stay out of the rebellion, her father Cray insisted the risks that came with fighting would be worthwhile when the kids were able to grow up in a better world. When a Peacekeeper arrived and informed the Bevin family of Cray's death after a large uprising in Three they couldn't even mourn him, as mourning was seen by the Peacekeepers in Three as supporting the rebel cause. From that day forward Keddy tried to suppress any trait of hers that resembled her father, as those traits were what got him killed. Passion is dangerous, and there's no logical reason to put yourself in danger.
Reaped or Volunteered: Reaped. Obviously. Anyone who would willingly sign themselves up to die must have something wrong with them, don't you think?
Weapon of Choice: A knife probably. While she's never used one in combat she's been using knives as little multitools from the moment she began tinkering with computers, so she's pretty handy with one.
Token: A little wire bracelet Della made for her. It's nothing fancy and probably a little stereotypical, but Keddy loves her sister and didn't want to turn it down.
