Wolves Rule Over All

Fight!

Narrator's Pov.

As the she wolf walks through the forest, birds stop singing and the whole world seems to go silent.

Then it starts snowing softly at first then the snow became a blizzard. The she wolf trudges through the snow, it's not too deep yet, only half an inch if we are speaking in earth terms.

She's looking for a place to stay till the blizzard was over.

As the blizzard gets worse, the snow blinds her and she stumbles. "Ahh!" She whimpers, something was driven into her right paw.

She doesn't have time to stop and check on her paw, the half an inch on snow has now turned into an inch and a half of snow.

The she wolf limps through the snow, leaving an obvious trail for any male wolf to follow if he could find it in this blizzard.

"I'm walking in circles!" She whimpers while passing a twisted tree for the eighth time in a row.

She sits down and stops to think. She looks around, it's tough to see in this snow but she thinks she can see a cave opening only about ten feet from the twisted tree she's sitting at.

She gets up and limps to the cave opening, not noticing the tracks leading into the cave. She takes a deep breath and only smells leaves. Foolish wolf.

She sat near the opening of the cave and tried to pull the rock out of her paw. Blood was dripping everywhere and the rock wouldn't leave her paw.

"A male can easily fight and win against me now." She whimpers loudly. Little did she know, a male who was sleeping in the back of the cave heard her.

"Thanks for the information." He grins while walking up to her. She whirls around baring her sharp fangs.

"Back off, it's a cheap shot if you attack me while I'm injured." She snarls at him. "It's not actually a cheap shot though, we both know cheap shots are when a male attacks a sleeping female." He tells her.

"You're smarter than you look." She laughs. "And you're weaker than the others say. Letting a little rock injure you." He mocks her. This remark pisses her off, how dare he say that about her!

"Are we gonna fight or are you gonna keep mocking me?" She snarls at him. "If it's a fight you want then it's a fight you'll get." He smirks.

Before she can even think he leaps forward biting her side. Angry, she claws at his face with her left paw and tears his face open. Gosh she did a number on his face. Blood continuously drips down his face and onto the cave floor.

This pisses him off more, he then rams his shoulder into her side. Now her side really hurt! She whirls around and slashes his side with her claws. It doesn't even break his skin.

Whirling around causes the rock to go deeper into her paw, causing more blood to gush from her paw.

He pins her down and snarls in her face. She kicks his stomach again and again, but he just takes the hits not even caring.

"You're beaten, just accept your fate." He growls. "I will not accept my fate." She snarls back at him.

She is a fighter, she will not go down like this. But she knows she won't escape from his grasp at the moment.

"Feisty aren't you?" He chuckles. She stops kicking him and gives in to him. "Smart move." He says a little disappointed that she lost her feistiness so fast.

He gets off of her and she rolls over, her side injury scraping the ground makes a whimper escape her lips.

"You're my mate now. So don't try to escape or you'll regret it." He whispers in her torn ear. "I hate you." She replies. He laughs, he did not care if she hated him or not.

She lays down and goes back to trying to pull the rock out of her right paw. He watches her with interest. "Let me help you." He says laying down next to her.

"I don't need your help." She growls at him. "You need to get that out of your paw if you ever wanna run again and you can't get it out. So let me help you."

She knew he was right, but she didn't want his help. That would mean she was weak enough to need help and she didn't want that.

"I'm fine leave me alone." She growls threateningly at him. "Suit yourself." He replies.
