Scar's Pov.

As I walk, I sink into the snow, makin it near impossible to walk. I do not want to ask for Mars's help, but I might need to.

Lookin around for him, I don't see him anywhere. "Need some help?" A voice from behind me asks.

I almost jump in surprise. "Don't do that again." I growl at my smilin brother. "As you wish great alpha." He says with a mock bow.

I glare at him. How dare he mock me! I should fricken bite him, but he's my brother so I won't bite him.

"Seriously though, do you need help?" He asks while lookin down at me. "It kills me to admit this, but yes, I do need help." I say awkwardly.

I never admit I need help, so this feels weird. Mars grins at me then he grabs me by the scruff of the neck and the long journey begins.

Narrator speaking here!

Mars carries Scar through the woods. Scar watches the scenery go by, noticing that the snow is starting to melt.

Which means the pups should be coming soon, like really soon.

After a long time of walking Mars's jaw is starting to get tired, cause let's be honest, Scar is pretty heavy.

Mars stops walking and gently sets his younger sister down. "Thank you. I should be able to walk from here." Scar says as she looks around.

The snow here was more melted than at Mars's territory. So it should be fairly easy for Scar to walk around.

Mars watches his sister, happy that he wouldn't have to carry her. "Follow me, I believe I know the way from here." Scar says confidently.

Mars faithfully follows behind his sister. Scar looks around, everything looks very familiar, than a scent catches her attention. The territory border, one of the few things she hates going near.

"This way." Scar says with dread as she starts to approach the territory border. The scent gets stronger and stronger as she gets closer and closer.

Scar's brows furrow in confusion, this place she detailedly recalled marking with Thunder, but her scent marker was gone. Covered with something, but even I have no clue on what.

"Now this dear sister is where I bid you ado." Mars smiles weakly. "Goodbye Mars. I love you." Scar says as nuzzles Mars.

"I love you too Scar." Mars smiles as he turns around and walks away. He bit his lip to stop the tears from falling, for crying was considered a sign of weakness in his pack.

Scar couldn't help but smile. Even though Mars said he'd only call her Akeela, he called her Scar.

Scar watches as Mars walks away, then she turns back around and hesitantly crosses the pack border.

I don't know how, but somehow Scar manages to avoid all patrolling wolves as she heads towards her den.

The setting sun seems to illuminate Scar's coat. The red light makes her look beautiful.

If only Thunder could see her now. He would be amazed by her beauty.

Her paws made soft indentations in what remains of the snow.

How all that snow melted in like one day is a simple explanation. There was a sudden warm up and it melted all the snow very quickly.

Scar continues walking towards the pack rock, thinking of what she would say to Thunder.

How would she explain her absence to him? I mean she was only gone for a day, but that was still an absence.

Scar's waddling slows as she nears the pack rock. She stops at the edge of the tree line and looks at the rock.

Sitting on the edge of the rock was Thunder.

Thunder's Pov.

The final plans for this war are falling into place. It won't be long before our enemies are all dead.

Looking out at my beautiful territory. Something catches my eye, a wolf, a rather round wolf.

A wolf that I know very well. My mate, the traitor. The one whom I hate the most.

I look back as I hear nails clicking on rock and I see Ivy. She walks up and sits by me.

"You're the best alpha." She says as she leans in a licks my cheek. Yuck. I don't like this one bit.

As I look back to where Scar is, she's gone. Perhaps me seeing her was just a figment of my imagination.

Yes that's it. That wolf was just a figment of my imagination. Scar wouldn't dare show her traitorous face around here.
