Thunder's Pov.
My emotions are all mixed up, I feel sad that she left me but mad that she didn't listen to me and she just ran off.
And there's no point in running after her, she's got a good four hour or more head start on me, I'll never catch up to her.
I slowly walk away from the border. I want to take my time on getting back to the den, I don't want to smell her scent or even think about her. I just want to be alone with my thoughts.
I walk up the icy side of the rock, not caring if I slip and fall to my death.
I walk across the icy rock and sit at the edge, the very edge that Scar fell off and almost died on. I can't help it, I have to think about her.
How could I be so stupid? How could I forget to have a guard with her to stop her from running away?
I guess my protective side wasn't so protective after all, it caused me to leave her alone.
"Alpha, are you okay?" I hear a voice behind me ask. "No, I'm not okay. Scar's gone." I say with little to no emotion.
"She ran away?" Ivy asks while sitting down next to me. "It appears to be that way, yes."
"I'm so sorry Alpha." She says while leaning on me and softly nuzzling my head. I don't like that she just did that.
Maybe it's because Scar hardly ever showed me any kind of affection and I just became used to the lack of affection.
"Thanks Ivy, but I just want to be alone at the moment." "Oh, ok. Bye Alpha." Ivy says before getting up and walking away.
I watch as she walks across the field, her white coat easily blending in with the snow. Once Ivy is out of my sight, I tip my head back and howl.
My howl is filled with sadness and anger all mixed into one. I'm calling for Scar, practically begging for her to come back.
This may make the pack think I'm weak, but I don't care. I love her too much to lose her.
Scar's Pov.
As Mars carries me across his territory I hear a howl. "Drop me now!" I say sternly. Shockingly he does as I say.
Standing on the ground I perk my ears up and listen to the howl. It's Thunder, he's mad and sad and he wants me to come home.
I tilt my head back, gettin ready to howl back to him when Mars growls at me. "What do you want? I gotta reply to Thunder." I ask while tiltin my head back to its normal position.
"You are in my pack's mortal enemy's pack?" Mars asks with an emotionless voice. "I don't know, maybe? I mean Thunder fought me in the wilderness, and took me to his pack. And we don't talk much so I don't know anythin."
Mars's eyes search mine, as if lookin to see if I'm lyin. "Let's go." He says before pickin me up and carryin me again.
I do not like this, this is weird. Being carried like a little pup is weird and I just don't like it.
And I just want to howl back to Thunder, tellin him I'm alright and I'll be back soon. But no, I have to meet this alpha.
Eventually after who knows how long, Mars finally stops walkin and gently sets me to the ground.
I want to howl back to Thunder, but the last time I heard him howl was at least an hour ago.
So that means he's given up on me.
I'm thankful that the moon is out so I can see in the dark. I look at Mars and see him starin at somethin so I look in the direction he's starin at.
And there I see it. A huge brown wolf. He's gotta be the alpha.
"Ah Mars you finally got yourself a mate, and I see you'll be having pups soon." The Alpha says.
Before Mars can even say a word I speak. "You're wrong, I ain't his mate and I'll never be his mate as long as I live." Talkin hurts, and this Alpha looks shocked.
"If she isn't your mate, then who's mate is she then?" The Alpha dude asks Mars. "Our enemy pack's alpha's mate."
The Alpha snarls at me, I'm in a whole world of shit now. Of course I snarl right back at him, which is probably a fatal mistake.
