Wolves Rule Over All

Meeting once again.

Akeela's Pov.

Protect Mars. That's my one goal. Make sure my brother lives.

I growl at the wolf that's circling me. She's going down, cause no one messes with my family!

I growl at her again, this time it's that growl that says you're dead. Of course I'm not gonna kill her, but she doesn't need to know that.

I lunge forward, tackling her to the ground. When we meet the ground she claws my face, oh crap. Too close to the eyes lady!

I kick her in the face, then I rear my head up. She nips at my neck, but it's no use I'm gonna win. I head butt her which knocks her out cold.

"Dumb bitch." I mutter as blood dribbles down my face. Well I'm definitely gonna look messed up later.

"You okay?" I ask Mars as I stand up. "Yup." He weakly grins at me. I nod my head at him.

Mars look forward and he practically trembles in fear. He hurriedly turns around, panic is evident.

"Akeela leave now!" He says with a wavering voice. I don't get what has him so scared.

"I'm not leaving you!" I growl at him. "Akeela, listen to me. You have pups, they need you!" He pleads with me.

"They're fine, and I'm stayin here." Why does he want me to leave?! I'm better needed here than with the pups.

They should still be sleepin anyway, so they should be all right.

"Akeela that wasn't a question, that was an order!" Authority bleeds from every word that leaves his mouth.

I lower my head, Mars is alpha after all. It hurts to think that my father is dead.

"I'm sorry alpha, the disrespect won't happen again." Oh no! This is submissive pack wolf in me. Ugh.

Just as I turn to leave, I see a big black wolf barreling towards my brother. My instincts take control and I leap in front of my brother, protecting him from this wolf.

Thunder's Pov.

I barrel into the alpha, taking him to the ground with a thud. He claws my stomach, oh shit that hurts.

He growls at me, trying to vain to bite my throat. I look down at him because I want to see the life to leave his eyes.

But instead of the alpha, I'm met with a feminine face. A very bloody, feminine face.

She growls at me, this time it's a blood chilling growl. Well now it's time to kill the enemy alpha's mate.

"You're about to die honey, any last words?" I lean down and whisper in her ear. "Ya. Go fuck yourself." She growls, then I feel a horrendous pain in my lower region.

She rolls out from under me and growls at me. "How's that honey?" She mocks me. I lay on my back and stare up at her, she is kinda beautiful.

I'm hurt very much hurt, and she could kill me right now. It would be as easy as saying whatchama.

"Akeela as your alpha I order you to return to the den!" The enemy alpha growls at her. "Not happenin, you need me to protect you!" She says with defiance.

I just lay on my back and watch. Once I get the chance, I'm going to leap up and kill the alpha.

"You're pups need you to protect them more than I need you to protect me. They especially need it with a father like that." He says while gesturing towards me?

"You're right brother, they do need me." Wait, I know that voice. It's Scar!!!!

"Scar?" I ask as I slowly stand up. Is this magnificent beast my Scar?

But no, she betrayed me and she betrayed my pack. I can't have her, no matter how bad I want her.

She broke pack law, a law that states breaking a promise is punishable by death. And my Scar broke a promise, so I have to kill her.

I take a deep breath and push all my feeling towards Scar away. Wolves look so different when once you don't care about them anymore.

I growl at Scar, but I'm not really growling at her, I'm summoning my pack to watch as I kill her.

"Mars run. Save the pack, I can take him." She whispers as she leans into Mars' side. Oh any other day of the week that would have made be jealous as hell, but not today.

"I'm not leaving you Akeela." "Dammit Mars that wasn't a question, that was an order!" I watch as Scar rises up, looking bigger than she actually is.

"Now!" She commands. Mars lowers his head. "Let him go free, please Thunder." She looks at me with her big eyes. Oh how can I say no to that?

"Make way for him." My pack does as I say and they part. Mars walks and I can tell Scar doesn't like that.

"Mars did I say to walk? No, I said RUN!" Scar howls in fury. Mars kicks it into high gear and he's off like a shot.

"If any of you touch my brother, I'll rip the hides right offa your backs!" She snarls as she turns back around to face me.

Well this is it. I have to kill her now. I don't want to kill her though. I may have been mad at her before, but I still love her.

I have to carry out the pack law, for if I don't the pack will kill me. "Scar you've broken your promise. How do plead?"

A burst of laughter startles me. "You think, I ran away?" Laughter erupts from her. "No that white demon kidnapped me." These words were deadly serious. "You seriously thought a fat wolf like me could run away?" She laughs and laughs.

"So you didn't run away?" "Heavens no. Why would I run away, when life was finally going good for me?" I can see she's hurting at my accusations.

"And where's this white demon?" Mika asks as he walks up to my side. "Dead. I killed her. I crushed her windpipe and watched as she slowly died."

Now that's the Scar I know. All killing with no mercy.

I turn my head so I whisper in Mika's ear. "I can't trust myself to judge her, I need you to do that."

I turn my head back and I eye up Scar. "Scar, the pack finds you....." He was cut off by a whimper.

Scar's ears perk up. "Outta my way." She yells as she barrels into the pack, luckily they part ways as she passes.

"Follow me!" I howl as I chase after my mate.
