Scar's Pov.

"Ah. What the hell happened to me?" I grumble as I try to remember what happened to me.

What was it that happened to me? I try and try, but I can't remember a single thing about what happened to me. I also can't remember anything about my life.

What is my name? Do I even have a name?

"Whatever, I'll figure it out later." I mumble while I look around the den. I nearly jump out of my skin when I see another wolf.

"Hello?" I call out to it. No reply, and then I smell it. I smell the pungent odor of death.

Yeah, it's time to get out of here.

I try to stand up, but my right leg buckles and I crash face first into the ground.

A let out a grunt of pain as I struggle to my paws. "Come on leg, tough it out." I say to my right leg as I struggle to walk. I think it's broken.

I limp out of the den and look around. The breeze sends the tree branches swaying, and it also blows me a scent.

Death. That's all I can smell. The whole land reeks of death and suffering.

"There must've been a war or something." I whisper as I survey the land. Everywhere I look there's a wolf dead. So why am I not dead like everyone else?

I've gotta get out of here though, there's too much death around here. And for all I know, whoever won this battle could come back and kill me.

Narrator's speaking here.

Scar slowly walks across the blood stained land. Her limp making her journey all the more painful. Getting away from here is all she wants.

Meanwhile Thunder and the pack are returning to their territory.

Bolt whimpers a little as Thunder tightens his grip. "Alpha, you're hurting him." Noil explains.

Thunder quickly loosens his grip. He didn't even realize that he was hurting his pup, he was just too blinded by pain and rage to notice.

The rest of the walk home was quiet. No one dared speak of what had happened to the alpha's mate and pups.

As Thunder got closer and closer to Pack Rock, the more he angry felt. Angry at himself for not being smart enough to do the right things.

By the time Thunder and Lightning are at Pack Rock, all Thunder sees is red.

But instead of going to his den, he turns and follows Mika to his den.

"Cora, I need you to do me a favor." Mika calls into the den. "What?" She softly replies. "Alpha's son needs milk or he'll die. Can you please feed him?"

"Of course. Anything for the future alpha." She says. Thunder gently gives him to Mika, and he brings him into the den.

"Please take good care of him for me. I'll be back for him once he doesn't need milk anymore." Thunder says as his heart breaks.

His mate died, and now the only piece of her he has left isn't going to be with him for weeks.

"What's his name?" "Bolt." Thunder replied before he turns and heads towards Pack Rock.
