Emily's pov
I sit on my bed, fiddling with the edge of my worn dress. I still wore the clothes that my mother had given me. I couldn't bare to take them off no matter how many times Annabeth or the other girls tried to give me something.
I glance out the window at the sky. The clouds were gathering closer together. Dark, menacing, clouds that promised a flood or worse.
"Em?" My little brother calls to me.
"Yeah James?" I ask, still looking outside.
"Bianca wants you to go with him." I look over to see Bianca standing outside akwardly.
"Alright, James, please stay here, okay?" He nods his head and I smile as he goes to play with some legos Percy had gotten him a little while ago.
I go up to Bianca. "Yes?"
"You need to come with me, like, now." She says.
"Subtle much? Lead the way."
Bianca start walking and I follow close behind. The large blue farmhouse approaches. We enter and she leads me to a large ping pong table with multiple campers are along with Chaos's team. I know all about this stuff now, so...
"May I ask why you have asked me here, sir?" I ask quietly as I look at the head of the ping pong table. A man in a wheel chair sat there.
"Just a few questions, and please, just call me Chiron." He gestures for me to take a seat and I comply.
Annabeth looks over at me. "What year were you born?" She asks me.
"1801. Why?"
Everyone's eyes widen. "Now it makes sence... she was born before the oath! End must have made her immortal... Can I ask how you started serving End?" Annabeth asks gently.
"When I was eleven and James was only a year, some soldiers came for my family and a few other families..." I trail off.
"What about your father?"
"Either dead or gone." I say simply.
"Your father isn't dead." Everyone's gaze shoots up to above my head. I look up to see something black glowing above me. It looks like a... black poppy flower... It fades away.
"What was that?" I ask, alittle worried.
Bianca, Nico, and another girl with curly brown hair stare at me. Annabeth answers me. "Your father is Thantos, god of death. And you're wanted to join our quest." She says as if it was the most obvious answer.
"A quest?"
A/N I know it's short, but I wanted to get it to you before school! Bye!
