(Several days later)

Alex's pov

  Everything was dark.

I could feel myself swaying, as if I was being carried. I could hear distant voices. I recongize them, but they were nothing more than muffles.

I walk through the darkness, trying to find the source of the voices.

They just became more muffled. I sigh heavily as I look around.

  Where am I?

  Trapped inside your head...
I turn around so fast I get whiplash.

But- I could've sworn it cam-

You may escape, or you may not...
  I turn again.

What the Hades!? "Where are you!?" I call out.

  Everywhere...
"Very helpful..." I mutter. "Okay, why am I stuck in my head?"

  That I cannot say, child...
"I am not a child, person!"

  It chuckles.

"Okay, can you atleast tell me who you are?" I promt, trying to get something out of the person.

  I am Morpheus, it says.

The shape of a man walks out from the shadows. He has light caramal hair and bright green eyes. He has a relaxed posture as he casually stands there, looking me over. I tense slightly.

He wears a pair of faded jeans and a tight black T-shirt.

Morpheus... "You're the god of dreams, aren't you?"

  He nods. "Very good, child."

I bow my head. A son of Night, I'd rather not get on his bad side, Percy did tell me about the primordal herself. If he's anything like her...

"May I ask why you have visited me?"

"Oh, can't a god go around for social visits?" He asks, slightly amused.

"Um, m'lord, gods never go on social visits..." I say quietly.

"True, true. But, sadly, I have to see if you're strong enough before we meet again. Goodbye, Alexandria, hopefully not for good."

"What ar- AHH!" I fall through the floor, somehow falling into an even darker tunnel. The voices get louder.

(Two days later)

  Leo's pov

  Alex moved.

I glance down at her as we run. I can't pay attention to that at the moment given we're running for our lives.

I throw a column of flame behind us, forming a ten foot high wall of pure esence of Leo Flamen' Valdez.

That stops our pursuers for I don't know how long. We got a good distance when Percy suddenly stops.

"Why are we stopping? Do you want to be those hellhound's dinner!?" I ask.

He holds a hand up, silencing me.

I hear movement in the brush before us. Another monster!?

It moves closer, then finally emerges into sight.

A boy, no older than twelve, steps from the brush, a slightly wild look in his eyes. He looks at our various weapons.

"Are you gonna hurt me too?" He whispers hoursly, his eyes not moving from Percy's drawn blade.

  Alex moans.

  Everyone looks straight at her.

  She shifts in my arms.

  Then blinks.

Her eyes look up at me. Then around us.

Then they fall on the boy. "Leo... let me down." She says quietly.

"Alex, are you sure? You're still hurt..."

"Let me down, Leo, please..." Her gaze doesn't leave the boy who is returning it with a small look of fear.

I let Alex down slowly. She sways slightly, but stays on her feet nonetheless. She moves towards the boy.

  "Hello, Danny." She says quietly.

"How do you know my name?" He asks. I'm wondering the same thing.

"I know your father." She tells him. She turns to us. "He's the first child of Morpheus."
